In 11 november 2009 Mario Borghezio (Northern League political party), an Italian member of Parliament Europe has dropped a "bomb" in the European Union.
Borghezio at a meeting of parliament in Brussels has lamented applications affiliates and related to Bilderberg and the Trilateral for the posts of EU President and EU Foreign Minister.
"It is possible - Borghezio asks - that no one has noticed that three candidates have participated frequently in meetings of Bilderberg and the Trilateral? I think we should apply the principles
transparency, so often invoked by our institutions.
We must establish clearly whether they are candidates of the forces policies of nations or whether they simply are candidates of these occult groups that meet behind closed doors to take
decisions over the heads of people. "
The candidates in question are Jan Peter Balkenende, David Miliband and Herman Van Rompuy.
Balkenende, Dutch Prime Minister, attended the meeting Bilderberg held at the Westfields Marriott hotel in Chantilly, Virginia 5 to 8 June 2008.
As stressed by Paul Joseph Watson on May 22 of that year,the Dutch embassy has done everything possible to keep hidden that Balkenende had taken part in secret discussions the group elitist.
Harry van Bommel, a member of Dutch parliament, has officially requested clarification on Balkenende and his Minister for European Affairs Frans Timmermans, about their involvement with the Bilderberg.
Timmermans has referred directly to inquiries from Watson and the scholar of Bilderberg, Daniel Estulin.
Watson wrote on May 15, 2009: "The Prime Minister Balkenende attended the Bilderberg conference held in Washington,DC, last year prior to the meeting with President Bush, along Queen Beatrix and her son, William Alexander. The Queen Beatrice is a regular participant in the conversations of these elite and was photographed by our journalists on his arrival at the meeting Bilderberg last year".
