Lies, Damned Lies, and Rupert Murdoch<br />Rep. Alan GraysonU.S. Congressman from Florida's 8th District<br />Posted: July 17, 2010 03:44 PM<br /><br />Well, we did it! We got an independent audit of the Federal Reserve ready for the President's signature. That's what the Senate's vote to approve the financial reform bill means; the audit authority is in there. Now we will find out which zombie banks on Wall Street got a new lease on life with Fed money, as the Fed's balance sheet grew by over one trillion dollars.<br /><br />Funny enough, the world of big money isn't collapsing -- as the Fed threatened it would if an audit of the Fed ever came close to passing.<br /><br />But if you happened to read Rupert Murdoch's Wall Street Journal on May 7, 2010, you would have heard a different story. "Plan for Congressional Audits of Fed Dies in Senate," was the headline. Exactly what Wall Street wanted you to think.<br /><br />Whoops! It looks like the Wall Street Journal has gone the way of Rupert Murdoch's flagship holding, Fox News.<br /><br />But we won. And so, to celebrate, we took that Wall Street Journal article from two months ago, did a little photoshopping, and put this together:<br /><br /><br /><br />We did this. Together. At every moment, as the Fed and Wall Street sought to undermine this cause, it was the phone calls, letters, e-mails, blogging and sheer power of the people -- ordinary people who cared -- that beat them back. We have delivered a succinct message to Wall Street and the Fed: "We Can Beat You."<br /><br />We will beat you. As often as we need to. And when the battle is over, as Lincoln said, there will be "a new birth of freedom, and government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."<br /><br /><br />http://www.huffingtonpost.com/rep-alan-grayson/lies-damned-lies-and-rupe_b_650137.html?ref=twitter]http://www.huffingtonpost.com/rep-alan- ... ef=twitter

interesting indeed, maybe he just knew he was being spied on, and this is why he said he was going to "die" in 6 months?
And this other news
He resigned the "number two" of the London Metropolitan Police
EFE - 1 hour 12 minutes ago
London, 18 jul (EFE).-the Superintendent, Chief of the Metropolitan Police of London (EMT), John Yates, today resigned over the case of the illegal interception of the "News of the World", a day after made it his boss, Paul Stephenson.
Yates was in charge of the first police in the case of the wiretaps of the tabloid research, begun in 2006, but in 2009 it was closed and that it was not necessary to reopen the investigation.
The position of Yates was virtually untenable after yesterday resign by surprise the Chief Commissioner of Scotland Yard Stephenson for his relationship with Neil Wallis, an exsubdirector of the "News of the World" arrested last week for his alleged involvement in the wiretaps of the tabloid.
Yates, who until last minute refused to resign, was who oversaw the hiring of Wallis as a consultant for the London Metropolitan Police, post which he held until September 2010, when had already broken the eavesdropping scandal.
Shortly before the Superintendent indicated journalists had no intention of resigning, because he had done nothing wrong, but apparently, I was going to be suspended by the disciplinary Commission of the police, gathered today for his case.
With the resignation of Yates, who has been accepted, Scotland Yard must be renewed to its two main leaders only a year of holding the Olympics in London 2012, which poses a special challenge the security of a city of eight million inhabitants.
The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, said that the resignation of yachts is "unfortunate" but that is the "right decision", the same words used to refer to the resignation of Paul Stepehnson.
Both Stephenson and yachts are planning to testify tomorrow before the Committee on the Interior of the House of Commons on the case of the interception of the "News of the World", a ball of snow that has already caused four resignations since last Friday.
The police is being very down in the crisis because, in addition to closing the investigation of illegal eavesdropping, several officers accepted bribes of the tabloid for information for years.

Sean Hoare, the former News of the World showbiz reporter who was the first named journalist to allege Andy Coulson was aware of phone hacking by his staff, has been found dead, the Guardian has learned.
Hoare, who worked on the Sun and the News of the World with Coulson before being dismissed for drink and drugs problems, is said to have been found dead at his Watford home.
Hertfordshire police would not confirm his identity, but the force said in a statement: "At 10.40am today [Monday 18 July] police were called to Langley Road, Watford, following the concerns for the welfare of a man who lives at an address on the street. Upon police and ambulance arrival at a property, the body of a man was found. The man was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained, but not thought to be suspicious. Police investigations into this incident are ongoing."
Hoare first made his claims in a New York Times investigation into the phone-hacking allegations at the News of the World.
He told the newspaper that not only did Coulson know of the phone hacking, but that he actively encouraged his staff to intercept the phone calls of celebrities in the pursuit of exclusives.
In a subsequent interview with the BBC he alleged that he was personally asked by his then-editor, Coulson, to tap into phones. In an interview with the PM programme he said Coulson's insistence that he didn't know about the practice was "a lie, it is simply a lie".
At the time a Downing Street spokeswoman said Coulson totally and utterly denied the allegations and said he had "never condoned the use of phone hacking and nor do I have any recollection of incidences where phone hacking took place".
Sean Hoare, a one-time close friend of Coulson's, told the New York Times the two men first worked together at the Sun, where, Hoare said, he played tape recordings of hacked messages for Coulson. At the News of the World, Hoare said he continued to inform Coulson of his activities. Coulson "actively encouraged me to do it", Hoare said.
In September last year, he was interviewed under caution by police over his claims that the former Tory communications chief asked him to hack into phones when he was editor of the paper, but declined to make any comment.
Hoare returned to the spotlight last week, after he told the New York Times that reporters at the News of the World were able to use police technology to locate people using their mobile phone signals in exchange for payments to police officers.
He said journalists were able to use a technique called "pinging" which measured the distance between mobile handsets and a number of phone masts to pinpoint its location.
Hoare gave further details about the use of "pinging" to the Guardian last week. He described how reporters would ask a news desk executive to obtain the location of a target: "Within 15 to 30 minutes someone on the news desk would come back and say 'right that's where they are.'"
He said: "You'd just go to the news desk and they'd just come back to you. You don't ask any questions. You'd consider it a job done. The chain of command is one of absolute discipline and that's why I never bought into it, like with Andy saying he wasn't aware of it and all that. That's bollocks."
He said he would stand by everything he had told the New York Times about "pinging". "I don't know how often it happened. That would be wrong of me. But if I had access as a humble reporter … "
He admitted he had had problems with drink and drugs and had been in rehab. "But that's irrelevant," he said. "There's more to come. This is not going to go away."
Hoare named a private investigator who he said had links with the News of the World, adding: "He may want to talk now because I think what you'll find now is a lot of people are going to want to cover their arse."
Speaking to another Guardian journalist last week, Hoare repeatedly expressed the hope that the hacking scandal would lead to journalism in general being cleaned up and said he had decided to blow the whistle on the activities of some of his former News of the World colleagues with that aim in mind.
He also said he had been injured the previous weekend while taking down a marquee erected for a children's party. He said he had broken his nose and badly injured his foot when a relative accidentally struck him with a heavy pole from the marquee.
Hoare also emphasised that he was not making any money from telling his story. Hoare, who has been treated for drug and alcohol problems, reminisced about partying with former pop stars and said he missed the days when he was able to go out on the town.

I wonder about June 25th 2009. Are we sure that TMZ were the ones breaking the news? If News of the world did, then it could be a proof that they were spying on Michael.
I wonder who´s next to fall. It´s going to be like a domino effect.

LulzSec, the group of hackers that said three weeks ago it was disbanding, claimed credit Monday for tampering with Rupert Murdoch's Sun newspaper website, while an allied group, Anonymous, claimed credit for a denial-of-service attack that brought down the website of The TImes, another Murdoch paper.
"Tango down," Anonymous said on its Twitter page about The Times, adding: "To be honest, not quite sure why. Consulting lulzcats say it may be a domino effect like in the Arab world."
Late Monday, those who went to the Sun's site were redirected to a page with a fake story saying Murdoch's body had been found in his garden. Then they were redirected to LulzSec's Twitter page, where the group proclaimed:
"We have joy, we have fun, we have messed up Murdoch's Sun," the group said.
Murdoch is scheduled to appear before a parliamentary committee Tuesday to answer lawmakers' questions over phone hacking at News International, his British newspaper division. The scandal resulted in the closure of "News of the World" a little more than a week ago, and in the arrests of several individuals connected with the company, as well as a key police official.
Most thought LulzSec was gone from the scene when it said last month it was stepping back to work with larger hacking group Anonymous in efforts to hack government and corporate websites the group deems corrupt.
But in an eerie Twitter posting July 13, LulzSec indicated it was far from done. "The LulzBoat is on holiday across mysterious shores, but we have a lovely surprise for you in the future," the group said.
Lulz — which is Internet speak for "laughs" and "Sec" — short for "security" — made its name known in May, starting with defacing the website of the Public Broadcasting System. LulzSec posted a phony story on the site claiming that dead rapper Tupac Shakur was actually alive in New Zealand.
That hack followed PBS' airing of a "Frontline" documentary considered by LulzSec and Anonymous as being critical of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
Anonymous gained notoriety for its denial-of-service attacks on Visa and MasterCard late last year. Those attacks were retribution, Anonymous said, because the companies halted online donations during the WikiLeaks controversy, blocking contributions to Bradley Manning, the accused document leaker now in custody.

All illuminati symbolism.
Michael was being abused by Murdoch big times.
The hoax is about "time", too?
I wonder what else in the hoax went unnoticed by us, pointing to Murdoch.
I know The Enquirer are the ones who announced MJ's death in 6 months. Are they a part of RM's media group?
I agree with everything you wrote in regards to how Murdoch viewed Mike...but I think it goes wayyy beyond that. There's many people who believe in a lot of what Mike did...so they should equally be as attacked, by Murdoch's machine, as Mike was, right? But they weren't...MJ was one of, if not THE, prime target. And the reason for that is because no one else was as much of a threat to Murdoch... his empire, his rule, and his 'philosophy'...as Michael was.
Of course, Murdoch's evilness extends far beyond MJ, and hopefully all 'truths' surrounding this spawn will see the light of day. What goes around sometimes truly does come back around. And although Mudoch won some rounds over the years, in regards to tainting an innocent man's reputation...the fight is not over....and it looks like Murdoch is slowly going down for the count.
With L.O.V.E. always.
That`ll be my question as well. Anybody knowing more?
