Elvis replied, ‘Yes. They told me I would die on August 16, 1977. I didn’t believe them but later I had a real dream about my own death and later I designed this Aztec jumpsuit with the date. 16 outer points marking the day, 8 inner points indicating the month of the Year 7 as they told me.’
Pakal, somewhat intrigued said,’ Which signs are you talking about?
Elvis said, ‘There will be strange circles in the fields. Pay attention to them. Three years before the year 2012, you will see a Phoenix and an Aztec Bird. First the phoenix, then the bird, then finally a great solar eclipse.

(sorry, I didn't know anything about Elvis' hoax until I found this site and I haven't did my research)

Also, if this article is to be believed, it would mean that Elvis actually died and didn't hoax his death...which I believe he did (hoax his death)after discovering and learning so much on this site. But if Elvis did actually meet this guy and talk about 2012, it's possible it was written with Elvis being a "ghost" so as to not give away that he's still actually living his life.
The date of death is 16 August 1977 ...
Thats why he had the calender designed with those markings....16/8..
Or it is a coincidence...again.

Ya that is quite a coincidence...I do think it's possible he had the "death" date in mind and was giving a subtle clue (much like someone else <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) --> ).
I also found this interesting from that linked article:

I googled that company and it doesn't seem to exist anymore and there plans for the Elvis casino appear to have fallen through.
