This song is so powerful. Michael expressing his love for and willingness to receive love from God is so touching. People should really appreciate this.

God Bless you Michael!

I was trying to find what Lenny said about this song - do you remember where you saw this? Do you maybe have a link?

    I did find this...

"(I Can’t Make It) Another Day features Lenny Kravitz and live drum work that is rumored to be done by Mr. Dave Grohl. The song was scrapped from Jackson’s Invincible back in 2001, and Kravitz himself re-recorded it and released it as the track "Storm" on his Baptism LP (2004). In its original state, Another Day is a haunting, nearly industrial pop track."

"The "Baptism" album was recorded at Hotel Edison studios in Miami, Florida and also features a contribution from rapper Jay-Z on the song "Storm". "Storm" was originally titled "(I Can't Make It) Another Day" and was originally recorded with superstar Michael Jackson."

Definitely like MJ's version the best but I really like Lenny's solo version too...he made it a whole different song, completely different vibe. Very creative!

Lenny spoke about the song at "Lopez Tonight". They start talking about MJ at about 2:45 min. (they talk in a very respectful and lovely way <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) --> ), and at about 3:45 Lenny says, "It (the song) is really about how his life has been so incredible and without God it wouldn't be so..."

  • Finally, something nice.
    Great.
  • Hi,
is it possible that some parts of the song "we've had enough" are used in the background in this song? (3.22 - end)

    Good Catch!

Someone else was wondering if the end of "Another Day" was similar to another previous MJ song, but I can't find their post.

If you compare this video starting around 4:49 and on for a few seconds,

It sounds almost exactly like the "It's too much for me..." in "Another Day"

You can hear it in this link around 3:20, especially 3:27
