This reminds me a lot of the "ticketlottery" at the Victorytour in 1984. Michael didn't agree with the way tickets were sold back then, and donated all of his procedings to charity. I wonder if he has anything to do with this 'tribute' concert. I don't understand any of this anymore. Is it all about the money after all (by the family, not by Michael of course) or do we have to read between the lines again?

Charity which is forced upon someone, is not charity at all. I can not believe Michael would condone this type of ticket sale.

Blessings

Michael would be vey upset about this type of ticket arrangement! The only people that could afford this type of "charity payment" plus the cost of tickets, are people with money and the highest bidder would be picked to get a ticket. I thought this was for Michael's fans. There comes a time when you have to think logically, especially if you have to buy an airline ticket and hotel stay that most of us would not be able to afford such a luxury, plus the economy is still down everywhere.

Unless this is part of Michael's BAM!?!?!? ::P

I really hope it's not. I would hope Michael would want everyone to enjoy the experience not just those that were chosen because they have the money.
  • To me this could be part of the BAM if fans can't get tickets for a show that won't happen then that's good so that they don't waste money and spending money to get there...maybe the highest bids will come from MJ or maybe this is just to cover up the fact no tickets will actually be selling.

You're Caroline Rowley? So they want to gather support for pressuring the organizers to change it?

Lol I am indeed ... basically the Welsh Rugby Union who own the Millenium stadium (second biggest staydium in the world) and a stones throw away from my house ...are stating that it is now down to the Welsh rugby union how the tickets are sold .. it is down to the organisors of the Tribute concert ... welsh fans are up in air about how the tickets are being sold ...making a larger donation to the Tributes charity of choice... will enable people a better chance of obtaining a ticket ... which is a total disgrace ...to true fans and people on low incomes

Lol I am indeed ... basically the Welsh Rugby Union who own the Millenium stadium (second biggest stadium in the world ) are saying that it is not them who are allocating ticket sales ...it is the Michael Jackson Tribute ...and they want to allocate tickets on how much you donate to a charity of their choice ...the more you donate to charity ...the better chance you get of a ticket ...
• I was thinking exactly the same thing about the victory tour! It's kinda like déjà vu! :)
