Michael's religion

In my opinion Michael disappeared BECAUSE he had no freedom to even practice his religion. He was a baptized, ordained minister of the Jehovah's Witnesses. Whether or not the really quit of not...I don't know and neither does anyone else. The words to his songs quite often are about the teachings of the Witnesses. He did investigate other religions, as most people do. But, in the end, he told Dr. Firpo Carr, another JW that he wanted his children raised as witnesses. And look who he gave his children to...his Mother, a Witness and being helped by his oldest sister, also a witness.
I believe Michael is someplace in the world worshiping his God and saving his life so he didn't loose it. He stated that he didn't want to tour anymore (it's on you tube on video) and that he actually hated touring. So, I'm sure he didn't want or intend on this last tour even. He made his music in advance for years of income.
I do NOT believe he will return, making this a hoax. I believe he has left us to have his OWN life finally. We still have him. In video, pics, music, everyplace, even commercials. Even the Beatles on Wii make him money.
Read this article to get to know him better..it is sweet and inlightening.

  • Although I agree that I think he will not return I do not think it had anything to do with religion. He turned his back on the Jehovah's witness religion when they did not agree to his music and career way back in the 80's and if he felt so strongly about the religion he would not have done this. Cat Stevens gave up music at the height of his career and became a muslim so if you have real faith you would sacrifice anything and Michael would not sacrifice his art/his music. Why would he suddenly convert back well over 20 years later? There is nothing to suggest or prove this.

  • I don't think Michael turned his back completely on the Jehovah Witness religion I think he still may follow the beliefs but he certainly didn't turned his back on it. Only after Thriller he had no choice to do so.

    I don't know....
What's obvious is that God has a very important place in Michael's life.
Religious messages are all over his music.
But I don't think he disappeard for this. No, in spite of all, I think he likes to be in the spotlight. I just don't see him hiding for the rest of his life.

I don't know if MJ was still a Jehovah Witness. However, I know he believed and love God. I remember him talking to Geraldo about reading his bible. He has spoken about God several times. He even said that his gift came from up above. I believe he educated himself about other religions and at one point he may have considered being a Muslim but returned to his beliefs in God. He celebrated holidays with his children which Jehovah witnesses do not do but ultimately I think he had some spirituality. I heard Katherine saying somewhere that she wishes her children were more spiritual.
