The hackers are certainly busy and on target of late.  Is there any such thing as “security" on the internet these days bangbang<br /><br /><br />url]http://www.cnbc.com/id/46639955[/url]<br /><br />LulzSec Hacker Pleads Guilty to Ebay, Mastercard Attacks<br />Published: Tuesday, 6 Mar 2012 | 10:37 AM ET <br /><br />The suspected leader of the LulzSec hacker group has pleaded guilty to carrying out cyber attacks on companies such as eBay's PayPal and MasterCard, court papers unsealed on Tuesday showed.<br /><br /><br />Hector Xavier Monsegur, known as "Sabu," was charged with 12 criminal counts of conspiracy to engage in computer hacking and other crimes in court papers in Manhattan federal court.<br /><br />The charges were filed via a criminal information, which means the suspect has likely been cooperating with the government.<br /><br />LulzSec, an underground group also known as Lulz Security, and fellow hacking group Anonymous [size=18pt]have taken credit for carrying out a number of high-profile hacking actions against companies and institutions including the CIA, Britain's Serious Organized Crime Agency, Japan's Sony [SNE  20.38    -0.35  (-1.69%)  ] and Mexican government websites.[/size]

    A smart hacker doesn't profit from his/her actions. They normally would get hired, to help protect those they hacked, if they're good citizens and never used the information for nefarious deeds.
