I used to get a kick outta reading my daily horoscope, still do every once and awhile. I met a friend years ago, though, who was really into astrology and he explained how it's not just your date of birth but also time of birth that is needed in order to get a more accurate 'chart'. Like everything else, there's different levels of astrology...i.e. reading your daily horoscope is very 'surface', while finding out your 'house' and ruling planets are more deeper levels. He did a whole chart for me way back then....it was something like 30 pages long but it was the most accurate description I'd ever come across. <br /><br />I haven't researched astrology in much depth...I would just pick his brain to learn more....but it is a very interesting field. From my understanding, we are 'influenced' by all 'signs' in varying capacities (that's why we see a lot of our 'traits' in other sign descriptions). Depending on your time of birth (planetary alignment at that exact time), you may be equally, or more, influenced by a sign that isn't necessarily the 'sign' of your month (ex. My sign is Aquarius...but my 'rising sign' is Scorpio). Of course, if you don't know your time of birth and can't find out...your 'chart' won't be as accurate...but it is still interesting to find out what other influences you got going on.<br /><br />For anyone interested, here's one site that gives free 'charts'...although you just get a basic one (you'd have to pay for a full one).
