Attorneys for Murray, who is serving a two-year manslaughter sentence, had asked for lab testing on residue from a propofol vial found in the pop star's room.<br /><br />The doctor's fingerprint was on the vial, and prosecutors theorized that it held the dose of the surgical anesthetic propofol that killed Jackson on June 25, 2009. Murray's defense, which maintained that Jackson administered the fatal dose himself, asked late in the trial for testing, but was rebuffed by the trial judge who said the request was not timely.<br /><br />An attorney for Murray, Valerie Wass, said she planned to petition the state Supreme Court to order testing on the drug bottle.

  • Maybe there sis a reason why they denied the request for the drug vial to be tested. Maybe Michael Jackson is not ready to come out of hiding just yet. When he is ready to come out of hiding, I am sure MJ will allow a court to give the okay to test the drug vial.

    <br /><br />Interesting. If this is true than IMO Murray is being forcefully put in a position to serve his full 4 years not 2 as this article suggests. I have always held the belief that the justice system failed Murray. I've thought this whole trial the way it went down was biased and prejudiced towards Murray. It was carefully constructed for the end result of Murray to be railroaded and convicted based on false planted evidence and it worked.

    Well his scheduled release date is in November of this year so he only jas a few months to go....... I think this is made up just to make us think further that CM is in jail when we know hes not or thats the consensus anyways.

    No Mary... His maximum was 4 years... He got his time cut in half due to new laws for overcrowded prisons in Cali... Plus he will also get out early for good behavior.......<br />He will end up serving about a year by 10-28-2012 hits....... Souza also posted that same date in a thread about the release date.
