JOE JACKSON
NOT Ready for Close-Up
... Almost Arrested

1005-tmz-joe-jackson-3.jpg

You would think Joe Jackson would be flattered when anyone wanted to take a picture of him ... but he flipped out when a Vegas tourist tried photographing him, and it almost landed the famous dad in the pokey.

Here's the low down. Joe was at The Palms Thursday when a hotel guest recognized the famous dad and aimed his camera in Joe's direction. Jackson allegedly went ballistic, screaming "Don't take pictures of me!" The guest claims Joe lunged at him, making contact.

Joe almost got more publicity than the time he announced he signed a new rap artist days after Michael died ... because the guest called security and demanded to get Vegas cops involved.

But Joe got a reprieve ... by the time cops arrived the guest cooled down and decided not to press charges.

But here's the thing. We don't think the guest got his picture, so here you go

1005-joe-jackson-article-7.jpg

http://www.tmz.com/2012/10/06/joe-jackson-detained-las-vegas-hotel-assault-police-arrest-photo/

The heading got me 'NOT Ready for close-up'...does it mean that MJ is not ready for the world to see him yet?

I have to say that Joe looks fantastic for a man in his eighties. You are def ready for your close up Joe.
[I'm enjoying these TMZ articles. Harvey....I've missed you]

I find it odd that Joe, take that attitude with someone who just wanted a photo.

    LOL!

Joe is one funny dude is all I can say. Reminds me of that pic of Joe laughing his ass off with Jesse Jackson just after his son had "died".

I agree RK.....he does look fantastic for an 84 year old. My dad is 81 and looks alot more frail and older than Joe.
  • Do we know it even happened? These photos, are they even from this incident?

Perhaps the article was put out to simply re-hash "Joe almost got more publicity than the time he announced he signed a new rap artist days after Michael died" just to get people thinking about it again... you know "hey that doesn't sound right?"
  • Is this another Baloney Michael? I hope so :icon_lol:

Anything, I guess, to keep the Jackson name alive in people's minds. I doubt there's any truth in this story, but Joe does look good for his age.
  • Joe almost got more publicity than the time he announced he signed a new rap artist days after Michael died

Hhhhm, I have never heard that he did sign a new rap artist. All I can remember is the odd Video where he
said the cildren are feeling well and that he did found a record company with his Partner. In this Video
that was taken one or two Days after Michaels "Death", he was laughing a lot. I thought either he is a very
coldhearted Man or Michael isn't even death and the whole Thing is a hoax.

Much Peace and Love to everyone
  • It was in a TV interview.

Here is the link. Please ignore Joe Bashing comments.

This to me was a clue that MJ wasnt even dead. Joe not even grieving.

People too busy bashing Joe to think about this interview logically.
Maybe it is time for Joe's close up in this saga.....here is his new painting, which he completed with the help of another artist. We were reminded that Michael wasn't the only painter in the Jackson family.
http://www.jwjackson.com/2012/09/28/commissioned-paintings/

Series-10-1024x739.jpg
Mr. Jackson has journeyed back to his Roots to express his most precious moment in Life through art. His son Michael Jackson was a skilled painter, a craft his mother Katherine Jackson recently speculated must have been inherited from his father. Katherine Jackson went on to re-iterate on the Piers Morgan show, how wonderful Mr. Jackson used to paint in his younger days.

Upon careful reflection and much emotion, Mr. Jackson picked up the brushes once again and with the help of a fellow artist was able to complete the following painting dedicated to his sons. The picture expresses his happiest and greatest achievement in life. The pinnacle of all he could achieve: Together with my Sons we stood tall. The sun high above represents warmth, hope and boundless aspirations. The sea, the 7 seas of the world, carrying their message of song and dance to all corners of the earth across. The sand, always reminded us to stay grounded.

The Series “A Glimpse of Paradise” consists of a limited set of 7 originals representing Mr. Jackson and his six sons. Each of these paintings is signed by Mr. Jackson personally. He intends to have them displayed in Museums across the world. Only 7 will ever be made.

There's that hoaxy number seven spread throughout this story...... 7 originals....Joe and his six sons make 7......across the 7 seas....777.

• How awesome. And love the 7's

Just want to mention the paintings are a series called "a glimpse of paradise"

Though Joe, not a JW, JWs believe that post EOW, the earth with be restored to paradisaic conditions of the Paradise in the Garden of Eden.

The most important feature of Paradise is, wait for it.... "Resurection of dead loved ones"

Its just interesting, with speculated upcoming Bam.

I like the line...the picture expresses his happiest and greatest acheivment in life.
Yes Joe...I hear ya....It was your family. Your greatest achievment is your children.
  • Sorry, to be more clear. As a JW, from our beliefs the FIRST word that I associate with Paradise, is Ressurection!

Right, I'm tired, its 3:30am... Peace out!

@Mary....I thought when we get a glimpse of the other paintings we could start a new thread for them then. What do you think.
Interesting that the boys and Joe in the painting all seem to be from the Bad era just like the memorial photos.

And the daughters? not deserve his paintings? or is that Joe's greatest achievement was the J5? :WTF:
  • But here's the thing. We don't think the guest got his picture, so here you go

yeah here we go.. or the story is completely made up and obviously Joe had a really good laugh..OR the truth is twisted and instead of Joe the guest almost got arrested for some reason.

LOVE
