Ive just had a thought about DR Shipman and the comparisons in the case of Dr Murray.

Dr Harold Shipman is the Worlds Prolific Serial Killer.. killing about 250 patients by injecting high dosages of medication to elderly patients.
Dr Shipman is the ONLY Doctor to ever be convicted of murder in the UK. <!-- s:shock: --><!-- s:shock: -->

So... even though he was a doctor and he was administering legal medication... it was DEEMED MURDER.

Murder is murder.. whether you use Propofol, a gun or a super soaker as your chosen weapon!! If the result is the person dies then its murder, right????

MJ case is so bugging me.. we are not being told the truth. Dr Murray should be charged with murder and let the jury decide on the facts.
People keep quoting in the press about how Propofol isnt strictly illegal to administer outside hospitals and how MJ asked for it.. etc.. etc... but when you think about it.. it doesnt matter about that. Its legal to have a kitchen knife in your house. But if you then use that kitchen knife and plunge it into your spouses chest... its a murder weapon.
Why are they not treating Propofol as the murder weapon? Aaargh!

I see what you mean but shipman meant to do it andhe did many times but dr murrey was playing his part I feel and hope
  • Yes.. Shipman meant to do it... if MJ is dead then how do we know what Murrays motives are?
How do we know that MJ took Propofol willingly? How do we know that Murrays motivations were?

Interesting that a doctor can be convicted of Murder when administering legal drugs.

One of the reasons Shipman went on so long undetected is because he was a DOCTOR and no-one believed that a Doctor would willingly kill his patients.

But also he is the only doctor in the UK to be convicted of murder. I dont know if any Doctor has ever been convicted in the US.

The point i really want to drive home is that there seems to be the never ending argument brought up about this is that Propofol isnt illegal in the USA. So what? A murder weapon is a murder weapon.. it should not matter that Propofol is legal or not.

this is what is crazy.. i mean people are getting into trouble for waving a kitchen knife at intruders.. yet Murray is walking around a free man for killing the most famous pop star in the world!!

look at shipman tho.. he got away with it around 249 times before he got caught!! <!-- s:roll: --><!-- s:roll: -->
  • He got away with it because he targeted the elderly (death by natural causes) and all he had to do was sign the death certificate. His judgement in signing the D.C. was respected because he had been their GP for a period of time prior to their death. He followed all the rules, except he was the cause of death. In MJ's case, it would be pretty easy to cover up a planned murder. He'd been using propofol for at least 6 weeks prior to his death for a so-called legitimate reason. Maybe that was just the build-up to what was going to happen on June 25th? How do you separate murder with intent (and pre-planned), from involuntary manslaughter due to medical negligence. Unless you find money deposited in Murray's bank account/incriminating phone calls and other such evidence, how you prove it's murder? Is it easier for a doc to get away with murder because it can masquerade as medical negligence. Murray could have been the perfect murder weapon, but if all this is murder by murray, why did he leave such sloppy tracks?
