Captain Eo is returning to Walt Disney World: Michael Jackson 3-D musical comes to Epcot on July 2
Walt Disney World announced today that "Captain Eo," the Michael Jackson 3-D musical movie that made its return to Disneyland shortly after thensinger's untimely death, is also coming bacl to Epcot. It will debut on July 2 in the theater that currently houses "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience," which was its original home.
Captain Eo originally debuted in 1986. It was a joint venture between Jackson, producer George Lucas and director Francis Ford Coppola. It remained until 1994, when it was pulled amidst child abuse allegations against Jackson.
Captain Eo is also going to both Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disneyland. It will shop up at thos parks in June.
The 17-minute movie will feature uipdated effects. Check out the YouTube videos below to see the original version.

goooooooood. saw it at disneyland in march. theater was packed. ladies near me were dancing. i may have yelled some things inappropriately at some points.the first shot of michael is his behind, give me a break. i'm glad people are bring michael jackson back.
