MJL enabled fans from across the world to come together to raise funds for this much needed home which will house 50 homeless, orphaned and/or neglected children in one of the poorest countries in the world. It is the first time fans of a known figure have come together to do something of this nature. Michael Jackson’s legacy of love clearly lives on in the hearts of those who heard his message to ‘make that change’.

:th_bravo:

250722_334297943315589_274143307_n.jpg

http://www.michaeljacksonslegacy.org/

    This is truly wonderful!
I would like to donate, but I wonder how verified/audited and trustworthy this organization is. It would be good to have some people outside of it, check and report as well.

Dr Patrick Treacy is the founder and Medical Director of the Ailesbury Clinics Ltd and practices as a Cosmetic Dermatologist in Dublin, Cork, Dubai and London. He has travelled to no less than 100 countries, and has worked as a doctor in places as far afield as Iraq and New Zealand. Dr Treacy’s accomplishments in the fields of both medicine and journalism are so prolific that it would be impossible to detail them all here, but you can read more of his exceptional life, achievements and experiences via: Dr. Patrick Treacy's travel articles from the Irish Medical News

In addition to accomplishments that most wouldn’t achieve in many lifetimes, and alongside having been a blessing to so many needy people abroad through his humanitarian work around the globe, Dr Treacy was also a source of comfort and friendship in the life of Michael Jackson, having been not just his dermatologist, but a true and trusted confidant. Dr Treacy’s support of his late client is exemplified in media interviews whereby he speaks eloquently and fondly about his friendship with the star, detailing Mr Jackson’s humanitarian accomplishments and what was his lifelong desire for a better world in a way that is poignant and powerful. Dr Treacy’s lasting friendship with Michael Jackson is not surprising, considering both shared a sincere and deep desire to help and support those in need and found a mutual passion in striving towards a better world through using their respective fields of accomplishment. It goes without saying that we are deeply indebted to and honoured to have Dr Treacy as our Ambassador for this cause.

So maybe in reality, this was the actual doctor MJ trusted when he went abroad, not Murray or Klein. Both those doctors seem a tad 'touched' and highly unstable, and they both also claimed to be MJ's most trusted friend. Will the real MJ doctors stand up! :icon_lol: And who knows, maybe he's a beLIEver and this organization has MJ's actual blessing!
