How long Michael was planning fake his death?

According to you, how long did Michael was planning fake his death? Only theories and speculations based on the clues that are there. <br /><br />I've seen three theories on this matter:<br /><br />1. He wanted fake his death since 1983 (Thriller era).<br />2. He wanted fake his death since 1993 (first charges of child molestation).<br />3. He wanted fake his death since early 2000s. (boycott of "Invincible"' and the problems with Sony).<br /><br />"Moonwalker" that was released in 1989 has a lot of hoax clues.

    I would say around 1985 is when he started thinking about it, but so many things happened that it kept getting put off. When it finally happened, it didn't happen the way it was first planned; that's why he's been gone for so long.<br /><br />Love you Michael!

    I think seriously since the mid 90s. He realised the media were never going to let up and he tried to expose the illuminati through They Don't Care About Us.

    Some believers believe he planned all one year before, but I don't believe it! You can't create two funerals and a whole escape in a year...

    I believe Michael wanted to get ghost in the late 1980's, but didn't really put his plans into action until after the first Molestation accusations. They dirty his perfect image. That was bad enough, but they did it a second time. It was time for him to go !<br />

    Anyway, I think he thought of escape in the late 1980s. Coincidentally, since the late 1980s Michael start spreading clues. Liberian Girl video is a must.  :)<br /><br />
