Approaching the media about ElvisAndMJ.com
My previous post is now merely about the discussion wether we are going to do this or not. I renamed that thread and this is a new one where we can actually discuss how we will do it. I will move the comments that were actually relevant regarding my original post in the other thread to this one.

We need to start somewhere and I think we should start by mailing the media about ElvisAndMJ.com. If we collect the e-mail addresses of various media outlets here I think all of us should mail them about the site.
There are some excellent writers here and I want to ask you if some of you could make a draft e-mail, so everyone can mail the same info/evidence to the media. This should include of course the website url, videos about the DNA evidence, links to articles and blogs about Eliza's case and good arguments as to why it's obvious that both men are still alive and kicking.
If we mail enough media outlets (worldwide) we might get some of them to report about it. And as we have seen with the Sun article, it can snowball from there.

I think we should leave out the numerology stuff as it would be seen as too wacky in an introduction, but I love the list of similarities between MJ and Elvis - that's easy to read and people love 'coincidences'!
I also think it'd be more plausible if we had a definite date for Eliza's court hearing - 'maybe sometime this summer' seems too vague. Can we get any more information on this? I haven't managed to find anything more concrete.
Thanks for giving us a starting point. I think we now ought to try making it shorter and snappier!

You maybe heard about it but I don't see any mention of the recent amazing story about Elvis Presley on your site/newspaper. I find it surprising so I decided to send you an email on this regard.
A woman named Eliza Presley claims to be Elvis Presley half-sibling. Nothing amazing you must think but the important thing in this story is that she has provided DNA samples confirming her claims. The DNA has been analyzed by various laboratories, one of them is the Paleo-DNA Laboratory in Ontario, Canada and the results were conclusive. I think it might be hard to get across to th French media seeing as we don't have tabloids as much...a lot of my contacts are serious journalists who probably won't take much of an interest but I will never stop trying! I was thinking of writing an email along the lines of: Did Michael faked his death due to infringement of his human rights? (media/people hounding him/racism/portrayed as guilty when proven innocent etc). I think it has to be a bit political for them to take interest. Luckily most of them despise English tabloids so maybe this will be an advantage?
Yes agree with you completely there are not many tabloids here but rather "serious" press but they generally have some place in their websites for this kind of information that you cannot find on the printed version. I think it would be best to do it on the same day, just flood them. That way we will know for sure that they will notice. I'll wait till the weekend to see if we can get more e-mail addresses and then post how and when we will do this. I think it's best to have one e-mail with all the necessary info in it, that we can all use.

The Globe is a tabloid as well, but people look at it. more importantly, other news sources look at it and then act like they have the breaking news story. everything about news today is not exclusive, it's all shared. also important to note- they say they will pay you for your "tip." if we e-mail them, it is very important to say we don't want to be paid for this. it's only for information. we're not doing this for money, we're doing it for michael.
