No Charges Filed Against Michael Jackson's Other Doctors

Remember when all the doctors who once treated Michael Jackson were being questioned right and left?

Well, seven of them are in the clear.

The California Attorney General's Office said Tuesday that no criminal charges will be filed against the physicians who were questioned in the weeks following Jackson's death of an overdose of the surgical-grade anesthetic propofol.

An spokeswoman for the Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement said that one doctor was referred to the state Medical Board for prescribing pills to a Jackson alias.

Meanwhile, the federal Drug Enforcement Administration has also concluded its investigation to the doctors' Rx practices, as well, she said.

The names of the doctors in question were not immediately released.

During the course of their inquiry last summer, investigators asked—among others— rheumatologist Allan Metzger, dentist Mark Tadrissi, nurse Cherilyn Lee, dermatologist Arnold Klein, anesthesiologist Randy Rosen, and ear, nose and throat specialist David Slavit to turn over all of their records pertaining to the King of Pop.

Jackson's personal physician when he died, Conrad Murray, has pleaded not guilty to one count of involuntary manslaughter for administering the propofol that ultimately killed him. Joe Jackson has also sued Murray for wrongful death on the first anniversary of his son's passing.

  • The Fox News ticker is reporting that no charges will be brought against SEVEN Dr.'s involved with prescribing medications to Michael Jackson. It states that one Dr. will be turned into the CA Medical Board for prescribing to a Jackson alias but will not face any criminal charges. The name of that doctor has not been released. No story is on their website yet, it is only on the breaking news ticker on the cable tv channel. I will check back throughout the night and post story when it becomes available.

So, I wonder if this person who was referred is Dr Klein? Thank you for sharing this. I just can't figure out how this would play into the hoax. I guess it doesn't?

...I just had a thought - could this prove that Michael didn't have a drug problem where he was doctor shopping, like rumors and speculation has it?

Not your fault...but we have a double post going now.

I always go back to my belief that in this hoax Michael is making a point to clear his good name. If this is part of the hoax could it prove that Michael was not doctor shopping like people have claimed?

I do believe as you do that a key part of this is to clear his name! It could be that the stories were bogus or it could also be away to clean house so to speak and find out what Drs. could have had ulterior motives. Looks like at least one was acting in an unethical manner. Time will tell!

I still think the choices of pictures TMZ use are too strange.....They always use the same pictures, with both MJ and Murray with the same facial gestures....why don't they just use pics that are "Posed"???

It seems that they do this on purpose....
I wonder if they are trying to tell us something here? Both have lips that angle down on one side. but it is opposite to eachother.....kinda like a mirror image.

can anyone find where she said this. if we are talking about the ophra interview i thought ophra suggested that he was looking thin and then janet said something about him having a problem. does that neccesarilly mean the problem was with drugs.i wonder if they are saying just enough to allow the interviewers to take what is said and run with it in one direction or the other just to show what they will do.anyway from the list of docs it doesn't look like michael had contact with any more of them than the average american these days maybe less.

Exactly. I've only heard Janet say that once Michael looked thin and unwell. But, he just could not have been feeling well, or perhaps having problems with lupus. Doesn't mean he was abusing drugs. Emphasis on abusing because he did have some sort of medication for an ailment, possibly? But, no examples of particular signs of drug abuse are ever given by Janet or anyone else in the family from what I've read.

Janet and others have mentioned Michael not wanting to see them but I read recently that in 2007, Leonard Rowe was trying to convince Michael to go on tour with the brothers and have Janet as a first act. Because Michael did not want to do this, he was trying to avoid them. I don't have this corroborated, just repeating what Rowe said, but it is possible that this was the reason for avoidance and not drugs.

Here Janet and Tito, about trying to intervene, although they were unsure about addiction:

This is what drives me crazy...

If MJ was a drug addict... then WHY didnt this show up on the autopsy?

If MJ is dead.. the autopsy is a lie, or the drug addiction story is a lie.

    Which is the lie???? Aargh!

Exactly! SEVEN doctors cleared of charges ... and this news is being revealed at the same time Mocienne Petit Jackson is claiming she was abducted and that all SEVEN of her abductors were murdered. Why does the number 7 keep cropping up all over the place? Because this is a hoax and we are seeing the concept of Synchronicity being played out on a world stage. Michael Jackson’s Seven Doctors Avoided Charges

As authorities said on Wednesday, state investigators, who are currently probing Michael Jackson’s death, came to the decision not to bring any charges against 7 doctors who treated the King of Pop.

Spokeswoman Christine Gasparac informed that these doctors were made part of an investigation carried out by Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement headed by Attorney General Jerry Brown.

She said that one of the doctors (his name is kept secret) was sent to the Medical Board of California. He reportedly prescribed drugs to an alias of Jackson.

A board spokeswoman Candis Cohen refused to comment that action as investigations and complaints were not public record, according to her.

Conrad Murray, Jackson’s personal doctor, who prescribed a mix of sedatives to the star, which finally killed him, has been found not guilty in the singer’s death. In such a way, all the charges of felony involuntary manslaughter brought against him were dropped. ---> When was he acquitted of involuntary manslaughter?

It has been said by agency spokeswoman Sarah Pullen that investigation of these doctors’ actions has been stopped by the federal Drug Enforcement Agency as well.

The state investigation implied the prescription drug database thorough examination. This database tracks doctors and their patients who deal with controlled substances prescription.

Hazzely, where did you find this article? If I'm reading it correctly, all charges against Murray have been dropped.

Why isn't this headline news everywhere?

That's a bit of a big SUPPOSE isn't it?! And you wouldn't just bury it within a story about 6 other doctors would you? Surely it'd be a headline all of it's own? Hmm - interesting to see if this story develops.
