"An judge of Los Angeles, Michael Pastor, has set to Jan. 4 2011 for the start of preliminary hearings in the case brought against Michael Jackson's personal doctor, Conrad Murray, convicted of manslaughter.

The hearings, which will be first heard details of the charges against the doctor, should last two or three weeks, after which Judge Michael Pastor will decide whether to establish a process for accountability Murray in the death of 'King of Pop'.
Dr. Murray, 57, Monday is presented in court, waiting for him at the entrance a group of twenty or so fans of the artist (who waved a banner that read "Justice for MJ) and some members Jackson family, including mother and father of singer, Katherine and Joe.

Murray admitted that he had given Jack a powerful dose of anesthetic, propofol, used as a sedative before his death at his home in Los Angeles, but has 'pleaded not guilty and it' was released after paying a bail of 75 thousand dollars. The beginning of the trial was scheduled for October, but the judge decided to postpone the hearings in January to give the parties more time to prepare their case. The legal team that defended him Monday asked 'permission to review the three samples of material taken from syringes and an intravenous drip.

Michal Jackson died June 25 of 2009 due to a deadly cocktail (propofol, sedatives, painkillers and various medications) that took under the supervision of Murray to combat insomnia. The court earlier this year decided to leave the licensed professional in a disputed decision-taking , because he has no authority to suspend it."
