MJ Music Video -- Little Michael Does His Thing

The music video for Michael Jackson's song with Akon features dozens of extras ... but only one of
them is a pint-sized version of MJ.

TMZ obtained video and photos taken last week from the set of the video for "Hold My Hand." One
Jackson fan was featured doing a few of MJ's famous dance moves. You can hear another fan say
about the kid, "That there is the opportunity of a lifetime."

As we first reported, a group of MJ fans were recruited to walk into an open airport hangar -- meant to
symbolize "walking into the light" (see the pics below).

A source on the set told us the director was telling people the video would air on ABC on December 6.

    The producers name is Mark Pellington. He has worked before with MJ.

    I thought of Blanket in the first place as he is Little Michael, right?

    Mark Pellington's bio is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Pellington and the video is already listed in his work. He's for real... despite the glasses, yes, but they are his trademark.

    So, once again TMZ comes out on top to have the first images of the video shoot? Hmmm...

    I can't wait to watch that little boy. It reminds me of two things..
    1) The Pepsi commercial when Michael was younger where the little boys were dancing and Michael was there - kind of like passing on the torch to the next generation.

    2) On MJtunes.com there are snippets of people talking (interviews, I think) and one person, a younger boy, says something like (in talking about Michael) "he just does his thing, you know".
