By Jen Heger - Radar Assistant Managing Editor

Dr. Conrad Murray, who was convicted last year of killing Michael Jackson, is passing time in jail by writing a tell-all book and hopes a publisher will pay him a substantial amount of money, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

"Dr. Murray spends most of his days writing what he is telling friends will be a tell-all book about what really happened in the final days of Michael Jackson's life," a source close to the situation tells Radar. "Murray believes that the public will want to hear about the time he spent with Michael. Conrad says that Michael confided his inner-most secrets about his true feelings about his family, the child molestation trial and his three children. Murray contends that Michael's kids viewed him as a family member and loved him.
PP_JacksonConrad_splash%20news.jpg

"This is all about money for Murray though because he is absolutely flat broke and desperately needs the cash. He feels that the book could help rehab his image and help him to get his medical license back."

PHOTOS: Key Players In The Trial Of Dr. Conrad Murray

Jackson's former physician was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in connection with the death of the King of Pop and was sentenced to four years in jail. However, because of jail overcrowding in California, Murray, who has served less than a year of the sentence to date, is expected to only serve two years behind bars.

"The conviction is being appealed and Murray is confident that it will be successful, even though legal experts say that it's very unlikely that he will get a new trial. Conrad is extremely arrogant and doesn't accept any responsibility for the death of Michael Jackson. He truly believes he has done nothing wrong," the insider says.

Meanwhile, reps for Murray have reached out to publishers to test the waters to see if there is any interest in releasing the book, and so far, the response has been, "no thanks."

PHOTOS: Michael Jackson Through The Years

"Several publishers have been contacted and have expressed little to no interest in publishing any book written by or about Dr. Murray," the source says. "One publisher said that even if Murray were to take full responsibility for the death of Michael Jackson there was no interest. Dr. Murray just isn't an empathetic person and the public doesn't want to hear from him, period," the source says.

RELATED STORIES:

Conrad Murray Trial: Prosecutor Calls Defense Arguments ‘Junk Science’

http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2012/09/dr-conrad-murray-tell-all-book-michael-jackson-jail

  • Unless he is revealing that Michael faked his death and is alive, I have no desire to read it.

Yeah but if this were all going on in real life, the Jacksons would be all over this this like white on rice, wanting any proceeds from this potential book sale to pay off a wrongful death claim... ie see the OJ Simpson tell all book.
  • Oh no, not another tell-all. How many 'truths' can one handle ... :WTF:
  • Son of Sam laws may prevent him as well.....laws designed to keep people from profiting off their crimes. It all came about in New York in the 70's......but many lawsuits have come about from it. Murray would have an uphill battle to fight if he is thinking of profiting from all this. (that is if it were all real)
I'd say it's another tangled web......

Here's a little bit about Son of Law:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Son_of_Sam_law

Blessings Always

3d-yeux-zarbi.gif aahhmm.... euhh this is getting more and more.... weir..."interesting"? so he's writing a "tell all" book and "because of jail overcrowding in California, Murray,[...] is expected to only serve two years behind bars.' ??? circonspect-2403.gif
That means anyone can commit a crime, they would be able to make money out of it (selling books) and they would only serve half of the sentence "because of jail overcrowding"? :WTF: is that? Soon being a law offender would sound pretty COOL! :icon_e_confused: :icon_rolleyes: I think this is just one more proof of how messed up the Justice System is !! maybe that's the POINT Michael wants to be emphasized here! :icon_albino: :icon_e_wink:

Reading about Murray's "tell all" book reminded me of what Murray said at the end of that documentary: "If I tell the truth I would walk free" - I paraphrased, I'm not sure it's the exact quote. So I'm really curious about what happens next. Will he really be able to actually release that book? Will he really tell the truth (hoax) in it? I'm so impatient! :icon_bounce: :icon_e_biggrin:

It seems that there is not nobody interested in what Murray wants to say.
