No more TIAI.com?

Going to thisisalsoit.com takes me to a godaddy domain thing instead of the California Court page <br /><br />{http://appellatecases.courtinfo.ca.gov/search/case/dockets.cfm?dist=2&doc_id=1999218&doc_no=B237677}<br /><br />like it was for the past couple months. Anyone know what happened or where TS is?

I think TS died long time ago I don't feel bad because I never believed in him if he turns out to be Front or Michael I am sorry but it's how I feel after last Christmas big drama.

Funny that this should crop up now, just after we'd been talking about the loose ends with TS - guess he decided to tie them up.  :icon_e_sad: <br /><br />I don't know the technicalities of these things - but looking beyond my knee-jerk reactions, do you have to keep paying for a name (TIAI.com) to keep it 'live'?  Would a non payment (intentional or otherwise) cause it to be closed down or does this latest development actually mean someone (TS?) has made a conscious decision to close it?

I noticed this yesterday too.<br /><br />I did a Whois lookup on thisisalsoit.com and it still comes up as being Registered. Which I presume means the money for it is paid up until the Registration expiry date. Don't know if it means if TS is still controlling it though (whoever TS is).<br /><br />The Registration expiration date is 10-29-2013 at 12:25:06  (what date was it Dr M is meant to be released?...just wondering)<br /><br />I have copied and pasted the Registration info from Whois below.<br /><br />Not sure why it would now redirect to this page on GoDaddy......<br /><br /><br /> <br /><br />

I checked it last night Australian time - Sunday night at about 10:30pm  - and it was redirecting to GoDaddy.<br /><br />However, yeah, it could have started redirecting to GoDaddy days before. Prior to last night, the last time I checked was the middle of last week and it was still going to the Court info page re: Dr Murray appeal. Someone else may have a better idea when it started redirecting to GoDaddy.<br /><br />As you say Andrea - the expiry is on the 4 year anniversary of when the TIAI redirects started, which was also around the same date that This is It was released (October 28th 2009) and also Dr M's release is touted for October 28th 2013. Also on the subject of the Dr M trial...the 1st day of the trial was on September 27th 2011 - September 27th (2009) was when the tickets went on sale for the theatrical release of This Is It.<br /><br />....funny how the dates all coincide isn't it  :suspect:  :icon_cool:

So I don't know what they mean <br />Here it is:<br /><br />Your domain name registration is close to expiring.<br /><br />Your registration of thisisalsoit.com ends on 10/29/2013.<br /><br /><br />It just sounds strange. But when I try to understand it, the best thing I can come up with is:<br /><br />"Your domain name registration is close, because you didn't pay"<br />"Your registration therefore ends on 10/29/2013"<br /><br />Don't know if it's right , but I did my best haha

Well remember that Front & TS were 'buddies', in that Front posted the pic of the Exodus map before TS used it for his Signs. And in turn TS referred to Front as MJ, so we know they support each other. Since there has been major drama on twitter the last 2 days, between Pearl & Debbie Rowe, and Front jumped into the middle of it, also saying he was talking to his daughter Paris (getting very emotional and crying, falling down the stairs). Could this be a hint from her perspective-- "Go Daddy!" ?

Haha funnily enough I checked TIAI yesterday too. I checked it yesterday afternoon or the day before and it came up with page not found or reload, something like that, so it didn't actually go to a website, then I checked it again last night and it went to GoDaddy.<br /><br />By the way does anyone know where the CM update appeal link is, I can't find it?

<br /><br />See, told you I'm no techie - I would never have thought of changing that 0 to 1 - brilliant Jos!<br /><br />That page means the domain name registration is going to expire on 29th October and it's giving the option of renewing it or selling it.<br /><br />Which means it hasn't expired ..... yet!<br /><br />Next techie question: would TS himself have had to set the redirect to the page that's showing now, or would it have done it automatically if GoDaddy was sending him the alert about the upcoming expiry date?<br /><br />Edit to add: Adi, thanks to you too for the corroborating info you found on Whois!

Well, if it will be expired on the 29th. I guess GoDaddy will only send the owner of the URL an alert. <br /><br />I will be furious when my website-provider, changes my URL to their own when my registration isn't expired yet. Right?<br />So, logic says, TS did it by himself. And me changing the "0" into "1" brought me to the webmasters log-in page I guess.<br /><br />Again, I don't know. But the same sort of technique works with my website and provider.

@curls ...no worries!  :icon_e_smile:<br /><br />My understanding is that it is probably paid for and therefore re-registered on a year by year basis. <br /><br />Going from my memory of previous Whois info -  the expiry date of thisisalsoit.com since it started always seemed to fall on or around this date (October 29th) each year since it began in 2009 (although someone else may remember more clearly then me??) ....so I think it just comes up as the default date each year and when the date approaches it gets paid....but I suppose we don't know what will happen this year  :icon_e_confused:<br /><br />I think TS, or whoever controls it, must have set that redirect to GoDaddy.

Hmm ..... ! Thanks Jos and Adi for increasing my knowledge. Interesting! So if TS redirected to this himself and it wasn't a random default thing, then he's conveying a message, intentionally or not.<br /><br />Option 1:  He's done with TIAI as of now and won't be renewing his registration.<br />Option 2:  He will be done with TIAI by 29th October and won't need to renew his registration.<br />Option 3:  He won't be done with it by 29th October so he'll renew it.<br />Option 4:  We'll just have to wait and see!
