Maybe some of you remember and wondered about Joaquin Phoenix´behaviour over the last two years; first he announced that he´s retiring from the acting business and won´t ever do a movie again and wants to start a Hip Hop career. He grew a beard and looked a little...well.. weird.

Now it was shown on tv, that it was supposed to be for a documentary, to show, how fast it can go downwards in Hollywood, from huge success to ridicule. (...doesn´t that sound familiar?)

The film is called
"I´M STILL HERE".

  • I was watching his interview just the other day, that he had with David Letterman some years ago, and did not know what to think about it one way or the other. I read his bio, and found it very interesting, often times we are adults products of our childhood it is true, if you have not read his bio do take the chance to. It will shead some light on my comment above, I like Joaquin there is a very deep genuineness about him.
  • When it comes out, I´m sure it´ll be interesting to watch this documentary... as it shows how people can be "fooled" into believing something withough noticing.

And this is what I mean by the MJ-parallel:

All we saw is how Joaquin looked like over the last two years, how weirdly he behaved and that a lot of people, I´m sure, just thought "What a weirdo has he become now?? He must be crazy"... so he wasn´t taken seriously anymore. Now there´ll be a documentary to lift the veil..

So all those people who called MJ a weirdo over the last years.... maybe they will know soon that all of his so-called "weird" behaviour was part of a bigger plan - to make people realize their own behaviour
    .
  • I love Joaquin, he's a fantastic actor, I saw his interview with Letterman and died laughing and wondered what he was doing... I couldn't make out if Letterman believed him and was really being that mean to him or if he was playing along... hmmm. I think he should make more Indi movies, mainstream movies aren't good enough for his talent.
  • I also like him as an actor, but actually I wanted to point out the hoax in the story, and why it was done...
  • Very interesting indeed!

Are you suggesting a link to MJ with "I'm Still Here"?
Your worst nightmare is me, I'm everywhere
In one blink I’ll disappear, and then I’ll come back to haunt you
    Threatened.
There's so many MJ-related titles coming out that they can't all just be coincidences, or that we hoaxers are seeing things or reading MJ into everything. Remember the Jack5ons saying, "Your eyes don't lie." and Larry King saying, "He's still dead."

The title, yes, but also the documentary´s purpose, how "the industry" works. In a larger scale, this is related to MJ´s hoax, IMO.
