I'm a black female and I honestly don't think MJ was ashamed of being black. He seem to be always connected to the Black commmunity in some way. He gave money to United Negro college fund, has elements of black culture represented in his videos, he seem to always have close ties with black political figures like Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson. He even had ties with the Black panthers from what I hear. He represented at the soul train awards, BET, NAACP Image Awards. I've even heard him say he's proud to be a black man. Even if his skin turned white he will always be a Black man. Some people say he didn't like black women but I've seen some black women that he's dated. Stephanie Mills, Tatiana, Shana, and I saw a photo that he took with the princess of Trinindad and Tobago. I just think his relationships with black women haven't been brought to the publics attention. I personally think he was involved with Diana Ross and Grace too. I know some people would disagree about Grace but a black man who let a woman in control of his money and kids has a relationship with her as far as I'm concerned. They don't just let any woman have access to their lives like that. I know being a black female. Anyway I just think that the issues MJ had with his appearance didn't come from race but from being called names as a child. I think he loved all races period.

I think some of the vitiligo pictures have been manipulated/photoshopped but that doesn't mean he didn't have it. Anyways, there are some good articles on the internet about vitiligo and I think people sholud read up on it before they go around stating this or that. I bet most people that say Michael did not have this condition don't fully know what it is, I sure didn't before researching it. Once well informed they'll see the truth. Then again there are always people that won't ever change their opinion about Michael because they like to believe the worst. Pure ignorance. I don't like to waste my time on those who are quick to judge others.
Does the color of his skin change anything about him? My god, let it go !!!!!!!! Michael could have been pink for god's sake, he still was a beautiful man inside and out.

I dont know whether she has, but of all the Jacksons (apart from MJ) she has always been the lightest in skin colour and has blotches on her skin.
