Maybe because this is something EVERYONE has to read, maybe it is very,very important!

I remember it stopped once before also when it was a redirect to our site here....

it stops to give people time to read and for people to disuses it if who every it is does start to rediriced right after the updates then people would be more foceus on what is new then setting down and going over the stuff that has already been given
