Dr. Conrad Murray is in court right now in the Michael Jackson manslaughter case ... but the big issue today is not MJ -- it's whether Dr. Murray can keep his license.
California Attorney General Jerry Brown -- who is running for Governor -- is trying again to yank Murray's license pending trial. Brown was shut down by another judge a few months ago, but he's trying again with the trial judge, Michael Pastor.
The judge is also expected to set a date for Murray's preliminary hearing.
Keep refreshing for updates.
UPDATE 1:10 PM PT: Dr. Murray's medical license is SAFE!! The judge just said he did not have jurisdiction to suspend it.
UPDATE 12:52 PM PT: Dr. Murray's lawyer just brought up the plane incident -- in which Murray recently helped a sick passenger mid-flight -- as reason not to suspend his license.
UPDATE 12:42 PM PT: Brown told the judge he wants Murray's medical license to be revoked as part of the condition of the doc's bail.
UPDATE 12:35 PM PT: The judge just said he's reviewed all the documents that have been submitted to the court, and is ready to hear what has to be said.
UPDATE 12:27 PM PT: Dr. Murray is in the courtroom!

DCT - DREAMS COME TRUE

Hammerfall : Dreams Come True Lyrics
Never thought I'd feel again
feel the darkness fade and see the morning sun arise
Never thought I'd feel alive, again
senses dull and blunt from all the lies
Now, when I hold your face so close to mine
I see a place where the sun will shine, with you in it's divine
Looking down into those eyes
I know, I'll be lost and never found again.
Kiss me once and I will surely melt and die,
kiss me twice and I will never leave your side, Dreams Come True
Do I dare to trust this time?
Ooh, the Bells of Fortune, will I ever hear them chime?
Only those who have been burned before
truly know the meaning of Hell's flaming core
I was the brooding night and you were dawn.
Saving me, for I was forlorn, in your light I am reborn.
Looking down into those eyes
I know, I'll be lost and never found again.
Kiss me once and I will surely melt and die,
kiss me twice and I will never leave your side, Dreams Come True
Then, when the walls are breaking down on us, when all we see is misery
will you still believe in me?
Looking down into those eyes
I know, I'll be lost and never found again.
Kiss me once and I will surely melt and die,
kiss me twice and I will never leave your side,
until the sign of winter, always by your side....
(Dreams Come True)
Tell me crazy, but Murray is the one pictured on the right? <!-- s:?: -->:?:<!-- s:?: -->
How convenient. This "incident" is really helpful.
