Michael Jackson' s likeness is at the center of a serious turf war -- and now an official MJ merchandising company is trying to squash a website for getting all up in their t-shirt bidness.



Bravado International -- which was empowered by the MJ estate to be the exclusive merchandising company of MJ memorabilia -- filed papers in L.A. federal court yesterday, claiming Emoda.com has selling MJ t-shirts without permission.

Now Bravado is on the rampage and wants to clean out their tiny competition -- demanding three times the site's profits from the t-shirts, plus hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages.

This article was not originally posted on Jun 17th 2010 1:01 AM. I have checked the first two pages of TMZ around lunch time, and it was not there. About an hour ago I check the MJ category, and it wasn't there either. Now, all of a sudden, it appears on the front page, second article, right in between the 911 calls of Charlie Sheen and Jason Alexander. There's a third article about a 911 call by the way, January Jones'.

I noticed that too, they have put this post towards the end of TMZ live.

And also these 911 articles are all connected to road/drive/car... "The driver is not ok" "The cyclist just got hit", "Car went over the cliff"....seem to be the same theme today as Katherine's article title "My Way or Highway" <!-- s:? -->:?<!-- s:? -->

That's strange.....I can't find any MJ shirts on emoda.com. I never noticed MJ wearing a red band around his fedora hat. I thought it was always white. I could just be looking for too much after reading Connect the Dots.
