I cant really say but i do know the 02 is the place to be at the moment it is not that large but all the big names go there and you can very quickly get out of London from there and get to chislehurst where he was going to stay. But why he picked the uk not too sure and i suppose aeg had the say.
  • "Jackson is said to favour London over a US venue for his return because he remains hugely popular across Europe. A Thriller tribute show has become a West End hit".

Maybe it was to beat the record of Prince, who waqs the recordholder for most shows in a row at the o2 arena in London ? if michael did all 50 shows, he would have the record.

    Because London rocks!
  • It is because during the trial they did surveys and everyone in the us thought he was guilty but in the uk we did not. He said that was why when they were first announced

There is no city in the world finer to me than London, England. The entire British Isles and the Republic of Ireland rocks my world completely. Best place in God's green earth for me. Yay! <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D -->

Well apparently they didn't survey me and my family. I haven't heard from one family member who actually believed he was guilty. lol And all but 1 of my friends believes he was not guilty too. Trying to convince that last one.... LOL

Well I'm from the US and I never thought MJ was guilty. I don't blame him for not doing anymore concerts in the US. People dissed him alot in the American media and entertainment industry. They like to put stars on top and then tear them back down. Sad to say but true. I think he still had alot of US fans though. Look at all the people who stood outside during the 2005 trial in support of him. I want to go to London one day myself. It looks like an awesome place to see.
  • I'm in America too and I've never dissed MJ <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) --> However, I've spend a lot of my life defending him. At one point I thought the whole world hated him, that was before I learned more about the sick, corrupted sorry excuse for American media and government. I wouldn't want to do my last shows here either. "I can't believe this is the land from which I came".
  • Because America (I am American) doesn't deserve him honestly. What America put him thru...I wouldn't want to perform here either. Plus, he loved London!

Not EVERYONE in the US thought he was guilty. Only a select few IDIOTS. Theres still millions of us who have always believed in him and continue to love him dearly. I Love you Michael Jackson. From day one of our Journey together to present. Please come home soon.

    A loyal Oklahoma fan.

Just for the record; not everyone in the U.S thought he was guilty.Especially the 12 main jurors which where the only ones whose opinion mattered.
