Joe Jackson had already told us that there would be doubles in the movie right? Ok going back to when he stated this...ummmm how did Joe know this? I mean was he just speculating? Was Joe saying this because he knew MJ was ill or something and would not be able to pull it off? Did Joe discuss something relating to doubles with MJ? I have always thought about this.....and IF there were not doubles used then WHY would Joe say this? Your thoughts?

    Good question.....he obviously knew alot more about the situation.
    He also stated that MJ needed help, and that he would still be alive if Katherine intervened.....so, obviously his part in the hoax is to make the general public believe Michael was in a very bad way with drug addiction, and couldn't have completed all the rehearsals or 50 concerts because of it.......

    In my opinion, Joe means that Kenny Ortega and the others hired doubles after MJ passed so the the unfinished rehearsal footage could be made into a movie. AEG $$$$$$$$$$$$ If the footage was only shot in bits and pieces, then that's when the doubles were hired to complete some scenes and added to the footage.

    The result being TII...its all about the money.

    The specualtion of doubles adds to the curiosity, and had the fans examining every scene very attentively....it certainly had me hooked. It started my suspicions of a hoax.

    Maybe that is the purpose of Joes statement.

I've always found Joe very strange and confusing of all things and on Michael's life since that fateful day 25/06/09, by then I had never even heard his voice in some interview or something.     You're not wrong. Joe's ststement regarding doubles had me at the cinema 4 times trying to figure it all out. Ka-ching$$$$$

    thay are a week away to leave to london and i don't see even one illusion rehearsed for this show... he always use an illusion... just the spider in thriller but that´s not an illusion... i think the end of TWYMMF was the double (orange pants guy) so he can have time to clothe change...

    Where, exactly? In which songs, or what 3 occasions, are doubles used?

    I think there were doubles in TII ...maybe MJ was ill and he had to recover and that's why his father told us about the doubles.I don't trust Joe Jackson but maybe with this he's telling the truth.

    I am pretty new to this site. I have been reading a lot of posts from a forum in Italy. They have an informer named blackorwhite,also(Daniela)whom has been stating that the guy in the orange pants is an impersonator. He is the only one. The website is www. michaeljacksongoldwolrd.com. Have ya'll heard of them?
