Impersonator gets mad

This Michael Jackson impersonator facing criticism and heckling in Times Square. This makes me sad because i'm sure Michael had to go through this all the time. He's a tough guy though, and fought for Michael. Then he starts beating him up the pap, and also notice his Wizard of Oz shirt! Warning: bad words by the MJ!

Anyone know this impersonator?

It's sad that Michael got treated this way sometimes, it's also sad that this guy or anyone gets treated this way. Lot's of kids get bullied at school and where I come from there is a lot of sexism in the workplace for example.

I don't really understand it - humiliating people for fun. I'm the sort of person who gets embarrassed if someone else does, even if I don't like them.

    People can be so sick <!-- s:( -->:(<!-- s:( -->

EDIT; The guy provoking him is so irritating! And people just standing around laughing <!-- s:roll: --><!-- s:roll: -->

    That is one crazy pap.
  • Good on you MJ...how dare that guy say those things about Michael. What does he know. I would have lost it a long time before that. He did so well at keeping himself composed for that long...

    This is very sad.
At the end of the video the spaniards dare to curse Michael calling him "crazy".....one just need to see the face of the one who said that <!-- s:roll: --><!-- s:roll: --> low iq <!-- s:roll: --><!-- s:roll: -->

Unfortunately "we" also get called names and some people look at us as wakos as soon as we expressed our love for MJ.

It's all about the love, but unfortunately many haven't found it yet.
  • People like that really piss me off! I hope I run into that fat guy. <!-- s:evil: --><!-- s:evil: -->

Michael Jackson's spirit is alive and still dancing the day and night away in Huntsville. WHNT NEWS 19 introduces you to a man who loves M.J. and showing people a good time.

Stanley Martinez Matthews has found a public stage and his calling as a Michael Jackson impersonator.

"This is something that I've dedicated my life to now," says Matthews.

On Monday, Matthews, donning a wavy wig, red jacket, striped pants, white socks, dress shoes and Michael Jackson's signature, glittery glove, got down in the parking lot of Fuel City at the intersection of Governors Drive and Whitesburg Drive in Huntsville. He's got the look, the moves, and all sorts of reactions from folks passing by.

People stared. Confused kids, looking for an explanation from a grown up, watched from the car window. Others were laughing.

"I think he's actually fabulous," says Naisha Hammonds. "I like it. It's really good. He seems to have all the music and moves. So, hats off to him!"

As Sue Foster watched Matthews Dance, she reminisced on fun times from her past.

"He is doing back in the day Michael Jackson," says Foster. "Believe it or not, I used to be able to do all that stuff. I'm enjoying myself watching this guy."

Matthews isn't just dancing in the street for attention, he says he's trying to make it to the big time.

"Business is nothing without advertising," says Matthews. "This is where I come to advertise. I bring it straight out to the streets where everybody is, because if you can't prove it to the people here and now, how are you going to go up in Hollywood and make it big."

Matthews and his wife live in Guntersville, but travel all over for music gigs. In his spare time, he pays tribute to the "King of Pop" by performing in any open parking lot. He hopes the M.J. inspired dancing inspires others to pursue their dreams.

"You can do anything you set your mind to," says Matthews. "No matter what person you are, color, creed, or where you're from, if you set your mind to something, you can do it."

Matthews believes Michael Jackson was one of the world's greatest entertainers and started dancing shortly after his death in 2009 to honor him. After getting so many compliments, that's when Matthews says he decided to make a career out of it.

OMG!!!!!!!!!! this was really sad, bravo to that impersonator, i would have done just the same thing, even worse to that freak, poor poor Michael,i dont know what to say, i only know one thing- yes, there are haters all around the world, yes there are evil, racist and jealous people who cannot stand MJ, but i'm also sure that there are millions of MJ lovers, fans and supporters who are always there for him, to clear his name and protect his legacy with pure L.O.V.E..love you Michael with all my heart

It takes strength of character to impersonate MJ, the way that young man was doing-- to stand for something big and good. As for this camera guy, what's he stand for, getting a laugh, a reaction from provoking people, bullying them. As for these two that happened to pass by saying MJ was crazy. Well they're all just ignorant about the facts that's all. They gloat because they think they're in the majority. But history makers are the minority who stand out and believe in something in spite of ridicule. Bravo to that young man; sure looked like a young Michael!

I wish we knew who this impersonator was, we could get him to join the Army of L.O.V.E.

He looks like an older Jaden Smith!

    Ditto!

  • I've heard that about the impersonator of MJ.

well he is not a good guy. If you copy a certain person it means that you like him.

but in that case that was too far. you act like a idiot.

MJ is a good guy even he commits mistake he still the best and no one can ever replace him.

his songs, moves etc. live in the heart of every fan of MJ.
