The day before his "death", this autograph was signed by MJ for a fan who was waiting outside the Staples Center. Then later, the not so loyal fan sold it for $21,000.00...

Could be fake, could be real, but that's up to you to decide.

Here are 2 more from years before and see what you think after comparing them.

Some reports have said Michael was so weak, feeble, shaky etc....
If this was indeed signed by Michael himself, I don't see any sign of that in the signature. I would think it would be a little crooked, fuzzy, wobble-like etc.
This seems like a strong, sturdy hand must have signed it. Just my opinion...........

    Blessings Always!
  • My goodness, if I had received an autograph from Michael the day before. I certainly would hang onto it. That is priceless in my opinion.
  • what a shame to sell a GIFT
for him to stop and do this for that person it was a gift of love.

Funny how he signed the date, no personal message....it's a bit odd??

    21,000.00..that's a lot of 7's! 3000 of them.....
It is odd he signed the date....was wondering about that. Did he often do that?

    Blessings!

I know he has sign dates but they were years to come like in 91 or something like that he signed 1998 with symbols behind it. Just odd to me.

I don't understand the logic behind examining handwriting.. My signature looks totally different every time I write it.
  • Oh let me throw this file in again, just in case you missed all the other times I posted it. This image contains signatures, supposedly Mike's, on official documents and letters. I numbered them, and made a list showing which signature appears on which document/letter:

1: Marriage license Lisa Marie Presley
    2: The Chandler settlement
3: Letter concerning participation in project "The Way of the Unicorn/The Endangered Ones"
    4: The will
    5: Moonwalk
    6: Passport issued in 1987
    7: Letter firing John Branca
8: Letter to Diane Williams, cease and desist from signing for his certified mail
9: Letter to Judge Melville substitution of Tom Mesereau in place of Geragos
    10: Passport issued in 1993
    11: Drivers license
12: AEG contract signature "Michael Jackson"
13: AEG contract signature "The Michael Jackson Company LLC, Name: Michael Jackson"
14: Contract mayor city of Gary concerning The Michael J Jackson Performing Arts Center

After comparing these signatures, of which some differ significantly from others, the question remains:

WHO SIGNED WHICH DOCUMENT/LETTER, AND WITH WHICH INTENTIONS?
  • I don't understand why that person sold it for 21,000.00. I find this person had no heart, I would have never sold Michael Jackson autograh. That is the most precious thing you can ever possess. Now as for signature, mine is never the same. I have a certain way of signing my name when i sign credit cards, and another signature for legal documents. I guess Michael did the same thing. It could be that he signed all of them. You have to be a professional to forge signatures especially Michael's signature it is kind of hard to forge.

Well here's a better photo of it.

  • I agree with the peson in this topic. My signature changes all the time however only an expert would be able to tell if it was signed by the same person.

So I am not into that signature thing.

There are some harsh words here for somebody who sold an autograph: heartless, shameful, unloyal. I don't know the person. Maybe they needed the money. Maybe they have mouths to feed, and $21K buys more groceries than a signature - even Michael Jackson's. Michael signed lots of autographs; I'm sure he realized their market value and that some would be sold. I highly doubt he considers it an act of betrayal. Just saying.

This makes me think of 3 options:
1- MJ was in a hurry each time he signed
2- The person signing is an "evil" MJ, a double pretending to be MJ
3- When a person suffers DID (I can´t believe i would say this ever) signatures can be totally different, depending the "person" who is signing.
This possibility is not accurate since the signature says Michael Jackson and not Marlon Smith i.e

This signature issue needs to be more investigated imo.
