It seems that the Monster lyrics posted on the internet belong to a group called "Skillet." These are not the same lyrics we are hearing on this site. Here are three randomly picked lyric sites to show you:

<!-- m -->http://www.elyrics.net/read/m/michael-j ... yrics.html<!-- m -->

This came to my attention via Twitter, and links to a non-believer's/justice for MJ-type site (I like to keep tabs on what "the others" are doing). Please take a look and listen to the two versions. Reading some of the comments below the videos, it seems that "Skillet" is a Christian band. Does it seem to anybody else that SOMEONE may intentionally be rocking the non-believer's world in order to wake them up to the truth? Seems that could be plausible, IMO.

    Honestly, I doubt it. Maybe it's just me.

    I love Skillet (and I'm not a Christian, I just recognize great music when I hear it) and MJ both though.

    I see that "Skillet" also had an "Invincible" album, that was released in 2000.

    Re "Monster", "...Skillet's most recent studio album is Awake.[11] The album contains twelve songs and was released on August 25, 2009.[12] It charted at #2 on the Billboard top 200 selling around 68,000 units in its first week.[13] "Monster" was released as a single on July 14, 2009." I'm seeing a bunch of "7's" with the release date of 7/14/2009 (9 - 2 = 7 also!). 7 days following Michael's "Memorial". It's curious, if nothing else.
  • Skillet also has a song called Rebirthing.

    Thankyou, @ ZTB2393. Welcome to the site, btw.

    "'Rebirthing' is a song by the Christian rock band Skillet, and it is the first single off their seventh album Comatose"..."in the end, it's just a song about second chances and I think we're living in a time now where a lot of people don't think that they deserve a second chance. You know, whether that's a second chance at life, or at a relationship, or when they think they've screwed something up too bad. And in this song it's basically saying it's never too late to start all over again, it's a message of hope and a lot of people aren't feeling very hopeful these days in our world."

    I see that this bands latest album, Awake <!-- s:shock: -->:shock:<!-- s:shock: -->, and was released August 25, 2009

    That's an interesting spin on it. I didn't know Skillet was a Christian band.

    The song "Rebirthing" talks about an 'average Joe' finding God.

    Yeah they are a Christian band. I heard of them too. I listen to a lot of Christian artist. Good stuff. I believe MJ was a very spiritual person.
