Why the number 71?

I have always wondered about the numbers involved with the ambulance and the tour bus, 71 and 17.
I might have figured why it had to have been an Engine Company 71(hence Bel Air location to live). I read an article on an older thread here

In that article it talks about a PopEater.com poll.....from Friday Aug. 29, 2008....Michael's 50th b-day. It states that 71 percent agreed there was, "not a chance" of him making a comeback. I'd be like, "I'll show you a comeback!!!!!" <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) -->

Now.....call me silly, you wouldn't be the first.......but is there basic writer's foreshadowing going on or what??? What are the chances that 71% of folks believed he could never make a comeback, and his "death ambulance" would be numbered 71? I bet if the poll was 61%....we'd have ambulance #61...............

also interesting is the phrase, "not a chance" in the article it even has quotation marks...why? It reminds me of the song, One More Chance

one more thing.... at the end of the article it talks about how Oxman was hopeful that Jackson would yet resurrect his career. Interesting choice of words: resurrect

    Not sure, good question! Perhaps, 7 + 1 = 8 for 8 being the Elvis hoax number?

    maybe the station did not have any other ambulance with "7" in its number like "77" or if they had used "77" it might have been too obvious <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) -->

    Ok, I understand you took MJ & Elvis numbers 7 & 8 and you added them and then multiplied them and you got no. 6,respectively no. 2. <br />Neither 6 nor 2 tell me anything hoaxy. What do you have in mind ?<br /><br />Then the rest of operations I didn't get them at all.<br />
