Martin Bashir's long-delayed MSNBC show is finally getting a start date: February 28th.

The show, which will air at 3 PM, was announced back in July of last year. But it was not given a starting time until Friday, when MSNBC sent a staff memo announcing the news.

As a result, Thomas Roberts, who has been filling in at 3 for MSNBC, will move to 11 AM. "Jansing & Co.," which was a two hour show, will now be scaled back to one hour at 10 AM.

    Batshit will get his share eventually. Patience is a virtue.

    "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

    Bashir went on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to promote his new show on MSNBC and Jimmy asked him if he regretted leaving anything out of the MJ interview... I'll let you see for yourself:

    Part 1: <!-- m -->http://www.latenightwithjimmyfallon.com ... 11/1302703<!-- m -->

    Part 2: <!-- m -->http://www.latenightwithjimmyfallon.com ... 11/1302704<!-- m -->

    He pretty much denied it, as well as denying that he's a sycophant A.K.A. a kiss-ass. I lost so much respect for Fallon after watching how he handled Bashir. To think I had actually forgiven Bashir, and then he went and opened his mouth again reminding me why he's so repulsive.

    The man is not sorry in the slightest. He has no conscience.

    That is really unfortunate. But, anyone with a conscience (and enough common sense to look into the whole ordeal on their own) will know the truth.

    I really hope so. He's still mis-characterizing MJ fans, accusing us of "deifying and worshiping Michael as if he were a God". The cynical part of me thinks Fallon's viewers believed the BS. I'll just have to patiently wait for the day Bashir finally gets his "just deserts".

    Anyway, as DancingTheDream asked, what IS his show about? I can't seem to find much information about it---except that people think it's boring {http://magic3400.newsvine.com/_news/2011/03/21/6313506-martin-bashir-the-newest-horrible-news-show-on-msnbc-}

    and that he has horrible segues {http://www.tv.com/watch-martin-bashirs-staggeringly-stupid-op-ed-comparing-mel-gibson-to-japan-with-commentary/story/25366.html} .

    Not even IMDB has his show listed <!-- s:? -->:?<!-- s:? --> {http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0059797/}

    It should at least have a title, right? Oh nevermind, it's called "Martin Bashir" lol {http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/martin-bashir-debuts-his-msnbc-show_b55136}

    And apparently this is what his show is about: [youtube:1x7x5tub]

    [...]and I think we're slowly working out the content; so, we're trying to cover everything from hard news and breaking news, so for example today we've been in Libya twice--live, we've been with the president in Chile and we've also been in Japan and so we're covering all the main hard news, but we're also covering lighter topics like the royal wedding that's coming. We're trying to do issues that are also of interest, so issues for example like matters of faith, what do people feel when a crisis happens? where do they go for their sustenance? So we're trying to talk about things that relate to the news, but also are broader issues and topics as well.

    Looking at the date, I see this was posted yesterday. Great timing <!-- s:!: -->:!:<!-- s:!: --> lol

    I'm so so sad at the moment with Elizabeth's loss that I can not even hate the man. But shortly I can say that I really do not like him and anything he does. <!-- s:evil: -->:evil:<!-- s:evil: -->

    Yeah, I was checking this part of the forum to see if anyone was talking about Elizabeth Taylor's passing, didn't see anything and then glanced at the Bashir subforum. The topic brought his Jimmy Fallon interview/appearance to the forefront of my mind. Way to lose my focus. <!-- s:oops: -->:oops:<!-- s:oops: -->
