• What’s the meaning? Couldn’t they wait until the next week? I don’t want to see Michael’s numbers reduced because of another

jackson project competing for sales. Reminds me of the line in Who Is It… is it my brother…? :computer-losy-smiley:

But Jackson 5 is still Michael included, so I don't take it negatively, unless I'm missing what you're getting at.
  • who owns the jackson 5 stuff anyway?
  • I don't think all the Jackson5 recordings belong to Michael's company. If I'm wrong correct me. But my point is that I don't want any other cd to compete with Michael's Bad25 for that first week, especially his own brothers.

Anyway, what I wanted to say is: as MJonmind said: it´s about Jackson 5 not Jackson 4.

This is a nice add-on to the celebration of Michael´s work/life.

People who buy BAD25 may also buy the Jackson5 release. For nostalgic reasons. These are not only new Jackson 4 songs as far as I understood. Those are unreleased Jackson5 songs from the past + new Jackson 4 ones. Know what I mean?
  • :beerchug: Thanks for the update. I don't know how I missed that.

    It's a great adventure !! :beerchug: Only wait !! :icon_e_wink: :michael-jackson:
  • Why not? It's probably a clever marketing decision with a good reason, made by a clever person :icon_e_wink: Quite possible that both cd's will be linked in campaigns, events etc to reach an even bigger market. And I'm thinking of the segment of Jackson5 songs in 'This Is It'. I'd think that Michael included the Jackson5 segment in This Is It to show the link and the unity with the Jackson5. Although Michael left the Jackson5 there's still a significant connection. And now while Michael's 'not around' the Jackson5 is shining more than ever, which is probably what Michael wants. Just some thoughts..

L.O.V.E.

  • I don’t doubt there’s a connection, I just want Bad 25 to be the number 1 selling cd to come out that week in the ratings game.

It will be number one for sure. Have you seen how it had a meaning? :michael_jackson-1135: or I am good, lol, it depends on how you see it!
