I was wondering the same thing though. Like, how did he know what he was saying would mean something different when played backwards? How did he do it? I'm guessing he recorded himself saying things, like with a tape recorder and then played it backwards maybe?...if that's possible? Then he sang it/spoke it into his songs. Maybe it's coincidence. i decided to take a stab at this and i reversed the human nature, the movie version and im hearing things but i cant make sense of them maybe its the quality of my headset, but if someone else can try this and let me know if they can make sense of it

I believe the reverse of This Is It has been created deliberately. In the process of recording a song musicians/singers can record their bit separately and then the tracks are put together, like when a singer harmonizes with a prerecording of himself. So I think a hidden message would be on a separate track that is reversed and then added to the song. Like turning over a deck of cards, a faint or inaudible backwards track would become the dominant track when it is played forwards. I have no idea how it’s done but I think it must be something like that.
