Michael Jackson spent more than $700,000 on all sorts of flamboyantly bizarre furniture before he died -- but now, it could be yours ... if the price is right.

Michael Jackson's furniture photos
TMZ has learned MJ ordered the incredibly unique items for a London mansion he was supposed to live in during the run of his "This Is It" tour ... but he died before the Italian furniture maker -- Colombostile -- could deliver the goods.

Colombostile tells us they gave the $700,000 back to Katherine Jackson and plans to auction the items off in the near future.

Among the items -- lavish sofas, a crystal-encrusted chair, a desk with a secret compartment and much more -- check out the gallery for more details. We're told Jacko bought one of the chairs specifically for his friend Elizabeth Taylor to sit in when she came to visit.

There's also a seashell-studded chair that was intended for MJ's "Little Mermaid" room -- we're guessing it was for his daughter Paris, but then again, ya never know...

  • Conan's not dead....but he might not have the Late Night Show on NBC anymore so they are probably just remembering the funny times from his show, etc..
I love that 15 foot sofa MJ supposedly had chosen....and my imagination runs wild with images... <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) -->

I'm not positive... but wouldn't that $700,000 dollars have to be given to the estate and not Katherine??

    beautiful!! fit for him!
  • Doesnt Katherine have say over the estate though?
  • ChanceChance Posts: 250
no, the lawyers do... especially when so much debts have to be repaid.. Katherine can't just take that money and keep it for herself... it would have to go to the estate .. just as any income Michael earns, I believe, go to the estate first

There is an UPDATE from TMZ saying that Katherine didn't received a cent according to her lawyer...

"UPDATE: Katherine Jackson's lawyer, Adam Streisand, tells TMZ, "It's an outrageous lie that Mrs. Jackson has received even a cent. She's never even heard of these people."
