    Yes they really did great Speeches <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) -->

  • Look the transcription...
"We would also like to thank the fans. Our father loved you so much because you were always there for him."

    Did he really said that?
    I don´t think so.

He did say that.. he always said he loved his fans because they always supported him and loved him.
  • Yes, I know.
    I mean I hear:
"We would also like to thank the fans. Our father loves? you so much because you are (clearly) always there for him."
    But not sure.
    What do you hear?

    He said:

" We would also like to thank your f..the fans. Our father loved you so much because You ARE always there for him"

I can clearly hear him say " you ARE"
  • Yes, Kirsche, that makes more sense, I wasnt sure about loved, but I hear are.

yes, right. But I don't know. Is it grammatically right if you say first "loved" in the past and then "are" in the present?

Or could this mean something? (maybe a slip up, because he was so nervous??)

I thought they did fabulously under the circumstances of huge stadium and TV audiences world wide, and this their first time. A couple things I noticed in this article was where it said one source said hearing all those tributes for their Dad could be harmful for the kids healing (that's ridiculous!), and secondly that it should have been the Jackson 5 there, that Michael would not exist without them. I guess I mostly think the Jackson 5 would be nothing without Michael. It was always kind of the wrong slant on Michael and what his fans think of him by this writer, obviously not a fan.

I guess it is grammatically right because he would be saying:
    Dad "loved" his fans.
    His fans "are" always there.

It doesn´t seem a clue that way.
Only if Michael is alive, this is not a clue, but a message, saying he knows we are here and has always loved us.

I can say I always loved you (meaning I have always loved you) and still be alive, and still loving you. That is the same every time some of them say "Michael used to... has always done this or that... My father´s message has always been..." Ok and it can still be <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) -->

And, yes, they were really nervous, that´s normal, no?

Thanks for explaining this <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) --> That really helped me.

And yes of course it's normal to be that nervous <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) -->

i think that just proves that pp should not judge. the children seem to be great kids, mike and his family and friends did a good job. he obviously made the right decisions for them and its totally understandable why he wanted to spend so much time with his babies, they are a credit to themselves and to their family.

but i do think they now need to get back to being kids and not being centre stage
  • anyone would be nervous standing in front of thousends knowing millions is watching you...

but if we look at Paris little speach... maybe this was not what she meant to say or maybe she messed up the order she was going to say it... but anyway...

    she said:
Dad...daddy was suppose to be here...daddy was gonna perform this year, but he couldn't.....performe last year.....thank you.....we love you daddy!

ok.... the big part in this is. " daddy was gonna performe this year, but he couldn't"
Q= why couldnt he? (well some would say because he is dead) but look at this some more. why coudlnt he performe... i get he was not fysically able to, as for the same reason he could not do the O2 gigs and why he staged his death. So the big Q is then: what was wrong with mj??
  • I think the children did a wonderful job, ofcourse they were nervous who wouldn't be, standing in front of so many people! I know I would be nervous <!-- s:lol: --><!-- s:lol: -->
  • To "choke" up means to become speechless or incapacitated according to my dictionary. Tears do not have to be involved.
  • I don't think Prince was nervous,he was emotional,he was talking about his deceased father.Don't get mad Lionel Richie already mentioned that MJ died before the kids were brought onstage. As for Michael's love for his fans, if it was said in the present tense I would have only taken that as,Michael's love is forever and that death couldn't stop him from loving his fans.
  • its paris' speech that was interesting?
  • [youtube:2wcte6af]
  • I think they did an awesome job! I honestly don't think those children would go up there on stage and make sure they slipped a few clues in. It had to be extremely hard for them to present that speech. I wished that it would have been Janet or Katherine, not the children. Michael kept them out of the lime light for a reason. A big applause for those children!!!! They did a great job!
  • can people (media) leave the kids alone. they didnt choke up. they did amazing!!!!!!!! they are so well behaved and just absolutely gorgeous!!!!
