Watch Cheryl Cole morph into MJ! That intro is just like what MJ did. She really has no ideas of her own, and she ain't even close to MJ.

I didn't even know who Cheryl Cole was until I read the comments below the video. It's obvious that she took the moves from MJ but I think he gets a kick out of people imitating him. Nobody can outshine Michael so for her to use his dance moves continues to keep him front and center in the minds of those watching.

Just a taste of what we'll be seeing from Heidi Montag. hahah
  • All these gys didnt stop short of mocking MJ when he was dragged to court in handcuffs.......Now they are trying to make a name for themselves by exploiting the nostalgia lingering in his fans's souls......What a mess.....

OOOOOOO!......What happened to them now? Why are they not jeering him and mocking him like they did when he was in trouble?

These guys cannot be MJ because of one simple reason
    And that is that---

MICHAEL JACKSON NEVER FOLLOWED DOUBLE STANDARDS IN HIS LIFE......NO MATTER WHAT.

I kind of took it as a tribute to Michael since it was so obviously copying his style. The words We just need to keep on fighting for love or something like that. Maybe that was a message. Maybe somebody can put the whole lyrics to this song here. Michael's everywhere behind the scenes.....
  • Fight For This Love Lyrics

Too much of anything can make you sick
Even the good can be a curse curse
Makes it hard to know which road to go down
Knowing too much can get your hurt
Is it better is it worst
    Are we sitting in reverse
Its just like we´re going backwards
I know where I want this to go
We´re driving fast but lets go slow
what idont wanna do is crash no

Just know you´re not in this thing alone
There´s always a place in me that you can call home
Whenever you feel like we´re growing apart
Let´s just go back back back back back to the start

    Anything that´s worth having
Is sure enough worth fighting for
    Quitings out of the question
When it gets tough gotta fight some more
We gotta fight fight fight fight fight for this love
We gotta fight fight fight fight fight for this love
We gotta fight fight fight fight fight for this love
Its worth having its worth fighting for (Oh)

Now everyday aint gon´ be no picnic
Love aint no walk in the park
All you can do is make the best of it now
Can´t be afraid of the dark

Just know you´re not in this thing alone

    This is sooo embarassing!!!
I could never do that...go on stage and
obviously simply copy the world's greatest
    entertainer... <!-- s:shock: -->:shock:<!-- s:shock: --> I would feel like
a cheap copy of something great!
    I mean, it's not even a tribute, it's like
"Yeah, I'm just as cool as him".

  • it wasn't even close as dramatic as MJ's entrances. I really didn't know either who she was until this thread, but so what if she pops up on the stage like that? i've seen other performers use that, for example just this past tuesday I was at the black eyed peas concert and they all shot out of the stage like MJ. Many performers use other trademark MJ moves. it's everywhere in performances because everyone has been influenced in some way by MJ. who can be original anymore after the amazing MJ? NO ONE really. he did set such a high standard for performers.

by the way, not dogging him at all, but MJ wasn't the first to do the moonwalk..he just made it mainstream. he saw it on the streets and learned it from a break dancer jeffrey daniel and made it what it is today. so even the great MJ had influences..james brown, jackie wilson, fred astaire...but he also worked extra hard to be the best! and of course a LOT was natural talent and genius that others can never match.

but there is no need to put down cheryl unless, and this is where i don't know enough about her, she is thinking she is better or at the same level as MJ..then there's a problem with her... <!-- s:lol: --><!-- s:lol: -->

I totally agree. MJ has single-handedly influenced a whole generation of musicians in profound ways. Where oh where is the recognition of that, thorough lengthy articles, books, reviews, textbooks for schools, etc. Looks like that job is being left for internet MJ experts!

I dont think we should curse, call her names or anything.

Didn't Michael Jackson copy James Brown, Fred Astaire and other people that he really admired.

But i understand when you say that some of them hated/disliked MJ when he was alive and after his death started to imitate him. That's not nice I know..maybe it's a way for them to ask forgiveness by paying tribute. And besides nobody is original these days.
