Yep.
They're fake and Katherine is in a lawsuit with them for trademark infringement.
The real one disbanded in 2002.

Do you by chance know why the real HTW foundation was disbanded in 2002?

    Okay, thanks for the info.

Unfortunately many foundations formed by celebrities and athletes tend to fade this way. They put faith in people who aren't always trained to manage such huge undertakings and take projects to the next level. Oh well, maybe MJ will try again. This type of foundation is definitely needed and especially nowadays.

Not sure it seems that the charity has run it's course and just died...
It didnt have status, mission statement, vision or formal achievements on paper outside the Dangerous tour donations, and cargo materials loaded to Sarajevo...and informal donations...doesn't look really good.

I must say that sadness me that Mike didn't get that in order

  • Indeed, there is no "Heal the World foundation" as we are used to think of (that was the "Michael Jackson foundation 'Heal the World'", dissolved and abandoned by himself in 2002 or so, a small but important difference).

Whoever those people are ... with their newly founded (2008) "charity" they are (ab)using his name and reputation as a humanitarian and trying to take advantage of his fans ... Neither Michael Jackson nor his estate have anything to do with it.

    Take care!
