in this case, it's just a language term for 'guy' or 'dude', quite regular for common spoken language. my ex says that all the time (i say it a lot, too) without referring to someone having 9 lives or as a comparison to an actual cat.
still, i find it obvious, that lenny is talking in a way that he avoids saying that he's dead. like others here also posted: it's the lead song in his new thing', 'he is a funny dude'...plus: he now decides to publish it, after it had leaked anyway...why not any time before 2009 when it's already 10 years old? so was the leaking meant to be an announcement after all? <!-- s:? -->:?<!-- s:? --> janet also 'announced' the song, when she was asked where she was when she heard the sad news about michael. she said: 'i was at my house in new york. another day, another morning...' a few weeks after that interview, the songbit showed up...then lenny's statement that he didn't know who leaked it, the vid disappears again and now it's gonna be 'the lead song in his new thing'??? <!-- s --><!-- s -->
