  • no big deal. that's what you do when you change... you let the old, unneeded things go... you let go of the past to make room for the new... (you can see I hope hard he is alive) <!-- s8-) -->8-)<!-- s8-) -->

you also need to sell valuables to generate money, the estate is paying everybody off, so they need to generate some doe aside from the music. at some point, everybody will have bought everything published by sony, so that'll die out somehow, as long as there is no new mj-music. they're just building some assets here, i think, like a money cushion. i am pretty sure that those are not the most valuable items to him and that there is still well enough for family members to treasure. besides, you can't keep everything for your whole life. and why not sell, when you know beforehand that those things are gonna be valuable for someone else. anything michael jackson sells like hotcakes now and especially personal belongings. remember how one auction after the 2005 trial hardly drew any attention and they were practically sitting on the stuff? and now? highest bids for everything, including scraps of paper. they could auction off a used handkerchief now and make a killing...( <!-- s:mrgreen: --><!-- s:mrgreen: --> couldn't resist the wordplay here...).

and i would look at it like 'cleaning the house' as well... <!-- s:mrgreen: --><!-- s:mrgreen: -->

  • I do feel kinda hurt that personal belonging are being auctioned off.....

Instead they could sell off the amusement park portion of neverland because Michael is done inviting children again....Also Neverland is 3000 acres right?......

So why nt sell some of the useless parts of the ranch and just keep the residential part of the estate itself?

well, wouldn't you sell your stuff if you were to 'start from scratch'? it's like shedding your skin. get rid of everything of your 'old life'. i really don't see any drama in there.

i hope they do something useful with neverland instead of tearing that apart and selling 'pieces of it'. plus, it would be water on tom sneddon's mills, he was always after that land cuz it's good wine growing soil. one of his objectives with the trial to chase mike out of neverland, he kinda succeeded in that. but putting any parts of neverland up for sale would be giving it to tom sneddon.
i'd rather see it become a children's resort for sick and underprivileged, with the main house as a kiddie hotel and keep the whole amusement park right there, plus some...that'll be cool, if kids could just keep enjoying it the way it was meant to be. <!-- s:mrgreen: --><!-- s:mrgreen: -->
  • Mj "stocked up", so to speak, in many of his "wild shopping sprees" prior to his "death" in order for it to look more convincing now. However, we all know who the genius is now, don't we!?!?!?
  • I thought everything from Neverland was removed including rides and animals?

Yes, I think Neverland stuff has already gone and I can't Imagine that the estate is not collecting money from the sale of his personal items too.
