    DAILY MIRROR?!?!?!?
(daily telegraph obviously copied without checking! or it was fed through an agency (like 'mj-news' <!-- s:lol: --><!-- s:lol: --> ) and everybody bought it.)

    royal tabloid BS!!! burn it! <!-- s:mrgreen: -->:mrgreen:<!-- s:mrgreen: -->

I would be very surprised if a respected Broadsheet like The Telegraph did that... that would be most unusual and makes me think that the source for this story must be reliable in some way

they're buying news like any other newspaper does. if the source is reliable enough for them or even known, they'll just print it without double checking. just like any other paper. they gotta make their money, too. 'newsworthy' means issues sold = money.
and may i remind you: everybody printed that ambulance photo and took it for real without even thinking twice, let go checking. what do we have now? oh...a fake? how come we didn't catch that earlier...? ooops... <!-- s:mrgreen: --><!-- s:mrgreen: -->

it's pure nonsense to be selling something that should be a crucial piece of evidence in a homicide case. that thing should be with the evidence the lapd collected, if it was still there. if this story is real, then the lapd should step in immediately and claim it! because someone stole evidence from a crime scene.

  • The syringe that allegedly administered Michael Jackson's fatal dose of drugs is reportedly set to go on sale for £3.3million.

The needle is believed to have been obtained secretly and is apparently being offered around Las Vegas auction houses, reports British tabloid the Daily Mirror.

Michael Jackson's family are said to have been informed by lawyers representing the unnamed seller and are said to be desperate to stop the sale.

The artefact could go under the hammer on June 25 - the first anniversary of the singer's death in Los Angeles.

His personal doctor, Conrad Murray, 57, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter after allegedly administering drugs such as Valium, lorazepam and propofol to the troubled star.

An autopsy found that Jackson died from "lethal levels" of propofol, a powerful anaesthetic. The syringe set to go on sale is said to be the one used to administer the fatal dose.

The Mirror quoted a source as saying: "This is one of the sickest lots ever put up. The syringe is no longer needed in the inquest or in Murray's forthcoming trial but the moral implications don't bear thinking about.

"The guy who has possession of the needle has been in meetings with his legal team, making sure it is legitimate and his to sell.

"The plan is to flog it for up to $5m in a big Vegas casino but he's been told he may have to sell it somewhere that doesn't have 'reciprocal legal agreements with the United States', such as Brazil or even Libya.

"Rumours are leaking thick and fast and the Jackson family are aware of the auction plan," the source is quoted as saying.

"They are furious and incensed that someone is yet again trying to profit from him. It's an incredibly distressing time for them." - ananova.com

Man there's been so many ridiculous stories coming out this month relating to MJ. It's like there's something everyday. I personally don't buy it for one second. That's absurd. People that write these stories need to quit lying just to make a buck. Man money can make some people do anything. Money is the root to all evil as the saying goes.

Reminds me of the DNA perfume story.

Syringes are not being used to apply Propofol.
[In total intravenous anaesthesia, two different application modes for propofol are widely used: infusion by means of manually controlled infusion pumps, and infusion by means of microprocessor-controlled infusion pumps operating according to pharmacokinetic algorithms (target controlled infusion, TCI).]
