Michael Jackson impersonator to perform at mall
Ryan Johnson, local Michael Jackson impersonator, will perform five shows over the next two weekends at the Kiss Theatre Co. in the Wyoming Valley Mall in Wilkes-Barre Township.
"Remember the Time" will showcase Johnson as well as players from the local community theater group, which regularly features programs produced by children ages 4 to 17.
Johnson said he picked the show title because "everyone young and old can think back and remember a time when Michael has had some kind of impact on them, whether it be a song that was played at a high school dance that they moonwalked around to or a love song that someone dedicated to a loved one."
The shows will be held Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Sunday at 2 p.m., and April 2 and 3 at 7:30 p.m.
Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for students. All proceeds will benefit Kiss Theatre Co.
To reserve tickets, call 829-1901.
