    I would try to find an email first? IDK - I'm in the medical field and I don't think the doctor will appreciate a phone call regarding this.

    I think at some point here we were trying to find (first) who was the doctor... someones say a women and someones say a men... was not clear at that point... and by that name the person was not in the UCLA staff... was confusing... <!-- s:? -->:?<!-- s:? -->
  • The doctor was Dr. Richelle Cooper (a woman).

    It was a woman doctor (R. Cooper)...because it's a female that is in charge of emergency medicine at UCLA.

    Dr. Richelle Cooper, Head of UCLA Emergency Dept is also named in the wrongful death suite filed by Oxman on behalf of papa Joe. So if Michael is alive or dead, Richelle Cooper is the correct name. Here's a link to that PDF for anyone who doesn't have it:

  • I dont think there will be much for her to tell you regarding Michael....Due to Hippa law.
  • If a doctor pronounces someone dead; is the same doctor responsible for signing the person's death certificate???
  • If a doctor pronounces someone dead; is the same doctor responsible for signing the person's death certificate???

    Most of the time but there are exceptions. Physicians that I support have signed death certificates of patients who died elsewhere because the patient was a long time patient with a chronic disease. They know the medical history and can verify the reason for death. It don't think the same situation applies to Michael.

    There is also a male Dr. Richelle Cooper cardio specialist if I remember correctly who works at UCLA in emergency medicine.

    Well you could ask her something regarding the death statement. I'm pretty sure a doctor is the one who should confirm someone's death? Then again, I don't really know these things, but I'm curious...
  • If Dr. Cooper was Michael Jackson's doctor at UCLA hospital than why has no one ever spoken about her AS IF SHE DOESN'T EVEN EXIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Frank Delo said he talked to a nurse, so did his family!!
    DOES NOT MAKE NO SINCE AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Why would Latoya be the one to sign the death certificate?
    SHE IS NOT A DOCTOR!!!
    LATOYA OF ALL PEOPLE!
    WHY NOT HIS MOM???????????
    WHY WAS DR. R. COOPER NOT SPEAKING FIRST AND THAN JERMAIN AT THE PRESS CONFERENCE!!
    WHY WAS TEHOME TEHOME STANDING NEXT TO JERMAINE???
    THAT IS SICK!!!!! SINCE MICHAEL HAD FIRED HIM AND WAS AFRAID OF HIM!!!
    Jermaine at the press conference did not EVEN SAY HER NAME!
    He is not a DOCTOR!!!!!!!! HOW CAN HE GET UP AND SAY MY BROTHER PASSED AT ECT.......
    WHERE WAS THE DOCTOR? WHERE WAS DOCTOR R. COOPER?
    WHY DID SHE NOT SIGN THE DEATH CERTIFICATE?
    PLEASE HELP ME FOR THE INSANITY CONTINUES <!-- s:evil: -->:evil:<!-- s:evil: --> <!-- s:evil: -->:evil:<!-- s:evil: --> <!-- s:evil: -->:evil:<!-- s:evil: --> <!-- s:evil: -->:evil:<!-- s:evil: --> <!-- s:evil: -->:evil:<!-- s:evil: --> <!-- s:evil: -->:evil:<!-- s:evil: -->

    There aren't 2 Dr. Richelle Coopers. There are 2 Dr. Coopers. One is Richelle...the other is Christopher, and yes, a man. But not both named Richelle.

    Dr. Christopher Cooper:

  • Hi all

    I emailed Dr Cooper and received an answer from (I cannot name this person on here) somebody in her office.

    I asked why the announcement was made by a family member, and about the Death Certificate being signed by a family member.

    The reply was simple:

    "UCLA does not release patient information to, or discuss patients with, third parties."

    So, obviously, it will do no good to contact them.

    Sorry guys!!!
  • Thank you guys for your help & support! Once again you are the best:)
  • It was a good idea to think about Dr. R. Cooper !
    Does she exist in real ?

    She wasn't mentioned very much and when a person like MJ came in a hospital only the leading Physicians are around him....normaly....and they are usully much to find when you google them.

    Here is a list of some of the best MD from the UCLA.....not Richelle Cooper !

    <!-- m -->http://www.uclahealth.org/body.cfm?id=932<!-- m -->

    From everyone is a photo there and all of them are going through different hospitals and countries in there life...not Richelle Cooper....she was since 1994 at the UCLA....the Medical school and now on....That's absolut not usual, but so there was no other hospital we could ask about her ! Good planed !

    I am so sure that there is no Richelle Cooper in the UCLA !

    Much love !
  • Dr. Richelle Cooper was a female, but the same as Dr Richelle J Cooper ? But he's a male, both at the UCLA, both the same Education.
    <!-- m -->http://www.healthgrades.com/directory_s ... d-a33c3ab9<!-- m -->

    Here at the publicatione from Richelle are only piblications from Richelle J Cooper :
    <!-- m -->http://emergencymedicine.ucla.edu/index ... y&Itemid=6<!-- m -->

    Confusion <!-- s:lol: -->:lol:<!-- s:lol: -->
  • I can't found a femals Dr. Richelle Cooper...it always say male and Richelle J. Cooper !
    Impossible that at the UCLA are two physicians in the emergency with nearly the same name....one male, one female ! And a unknown physician dosn't care about MJ when he fights for his life !

    The woman Richelle dosn't exist...i am sure !

    <!-- m -->http://www.healthgrades.com/Cms/Search/ ... of=FORID:9<!-- m -->

    It allways link to Richelle J. Cooper !
  • The female Dr. Richelle Cooper , 12 years in the job
    <!-- m -->http://www.vitals.com/doctors/Dr_Richelle_Cooper.html<!-- m -->

    The male Dr. Richelle Cooper, 16 years in the job.
    <!-- m -->http://www.healthgrades.com/directory_s ... d-a33c3ab9<!-- m -->

    The male one is to find in most publications and i think that he is real.
  • Thank you for the great informaton badgirl777!
  • I think you can contact UCLA hospital for some information about what happened to MJ. It can be possible that the doctor in emergency medicine had the proper proof for this. It’s just unexpected to know what had happened to him after the emergency medical approach.

    How about someone contact the hospital and ask all of the same questions only make them about someone *anonymous* and don't give a name like MJ but just mention the scenario and that way there would be no violation of privacy etc.... <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) -->
