The jacket from the Ed Hardy 2 MJs pap video is back.

Weird.

See how that jacket makes MJ look sooooooo thin? Lol. Perfect for the reports that would come out a couple months later after he "died" that he was emaciated and frail.
So greenman Arnie has already purchased a new jacket despite the quarrel (those two are not the same, see the letters in the embroidery). He must really love this style.
Good call Grace. You're right. It's not even the same jacket.
  • So...I guess we're to be on the lookout for more "green men" then  not meaning this guy of course >>>

  • Arnie Klein in Jacket Flap with Michael Jackson Dr. Arnold Klein -- Michael Jackson's longtime dermatologist and friend -- has filed a claim against Michael Jackson's estate ... but this time it's not about money -- Arnie wants his jacket back!

Dr. Klein claims Michael borrowed a Gianfranco Ferre green jacket from him several months before he died -- a jacket Klein claims is worth $10,000.

According to the claim, "The jacket has not been returned prior to death and has not been returned after death (although demand has been made)."

Klein is not asking for any money, but wants his threads back.

Klein filed another claim against the Michael Jackson estate back in October -- for $48,522.89 for medical services.
http://www.tmz.com/2010/02/20/arnie-klein-jacket-michael-jackson-designer-gianfranco-ferre-creditors-claim/

Right, Dr. Klein doesn't want any money he just wants his jacket back according to this TMZ article. Can he actually prove that this jacket was his in the first place. If the Estate wouldn't reject Arnie's claim, pretty soon it will be crowdy of claimers with made up claims. Besides, it is all about money because the shop price of this jacket was much lower, though Michael wore it so the actual marketvalue is I guess 5 times higher so Arnie now claims 10,000  .
There's the ugly jacket again. $10,000?? Not in 10,000 years! It's hideous... But why bring it up again? Whazzup with the jacket?

    Button up or buckle up?
  • I found this interesting; a connection to June 25 and Gianfranco, the designer of this jacket. Also, A Dubai connection that reminds me of Jermaine in Dubai walking into the same store that Michael was at. I guess it really is a small world after all...

Real Estate
On June 25 of 2008 real estate and the world of high fashion established a new precedent in the world of modern architectural splendour when Gianfranco Ferré entered into a worldwide joint venture with Dubai-based GIO Developments, part of Galadari Investment Office (GIO) in Milan today. An exclusive development deal was signed naming GIO Developments the worldwide partner for all Gianfranco Ferré real estate projects. GIO Developments is fully responsible for real estate, construction, management and operations, whilst Gianfranco Ferré will oversee all aspects of content, design and style. The first project of the "Gianfranco Ferré for GIO" joint venture will be erected in Dubai and named Gianfranco Ferré Stresa. It will go on stream combining residential, commercial and hospitality spaces so that the mixed-use development will complement itself. The project is worth more than USD$1.2 billion and is packaged to introduce the world to genuine 'concrete couture', according to industry experts.
I'm not sure that it is a different jacket. The quality of the AK pic is less defined all over than the MJ one, 'fuzzier', for want of a more technical term! I don't think it matters one way or the other though - the whole story is preposterous!

What if the Jacket contains some form of evidence that could be used against him?? If Klein wore that Jacket first, then maybe it contains Arnies DNA or something similar....that could be used in court against him as evidence.

Maybe that's why Klein sounds more desparate to just get the Jacket back..........we could be onto something here....Maybe a letter left in the pocket to incriminate Dr Klein???

My thoughts exactly. Something is up with this jacket. Or maybe Arnie left something incriminating in one of its pockets. Who knows..

So the jacket is made more valuable because of the controversy.

You can't possibly convince me that jacket is worth 10K without this big to-do over it.

If Arnold Klein is so interested in charity and professes to be the dermatologist to the stars, surely he can scrape together 10K to donate without having to sell off some clothes. Since it's so important to him to be charitable and all, his contribution shouldn't hinge on the possession of some old jacket.

Maybe he's just trying to jockey for the best seats at the Tribute with his extravagant charitable contribution.
• Arnold Klein Green Jacket has been making the news for well over a year now and I could not help thinking about this green jacket last night! What could it mean? And one thought led to another one! The journey of discovery went as follows, from Augusta to James Brown to Ray Charles to Kermit:

[li]In golf the
Green Jacket is given to the winner of the Masters, one of the most prestigious golf tournament in the World. Tiger Woods has won it 4 times.[/li]
[li]The Masters takes place in Augusta, Georgia every year.[/li]
[li]Augusta is the Principal city of the Augusta - Richmond County and a centre of Medicine and Biotechnology. It is also the hometown of James Brown
Reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Augusta,_Georgia[/li]
[li]We know that the “Godfather of Soul” held a very important Place in Michael’s heart and it is no surprise that he finds his way through THIS. The contrary would have been surprising!
Reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Brown[/li]
[li]James Joseph Brown was born on 5/3/33 -- Can you see Michael?[/li]
[li]James Brown was inspired to become an entertainer after watching Louis Jordan. The only one of them who has been identified is LaRhonda Pettit (born 1962), a retired air stewardess and teacher who lives in Houston. Remember the case of Mocienne PETIT Jackson:
Reference: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/07/27/mocienne-petit-jackson-al_n_661088.html[/li]
[li]In 1988, James Brown was arrested following an alleged high-speed car chase on Interstate 20 along the Georgia-South Carolina state border. He was convicted of carrying an unlicensed pistol and assaulting a police officer, along with various drug-related and driving offenses. Although he was sentenced to six years in prison, he was eventually released in 1991 after serving only three years of his sentence. Brown's FBI file, released to The Washington Post in 2007 under the Freedom of Information Act, related Brown's claim that the high-speed chase did not occur as claimed by the police, and that local police shot at his car several times during an incident of police harassment and assaulted him after his arrest. • Thankyou for your well-researched “Green” post [glow=red,2,300]@TheRunningGirl[/glow]!

“Bein’ Green” is such a beautiful song!

...written by Joe Raposo in 1970 for the first season of the children's television program Sesame Street. It was originally performed by Kermit the Frog (voiced by Jim Henson).

In the song, Kermit begins by lamenting his green coloration, expressing that green ‘blends in with so many ordinary things’ and wishing to be some other color. But by the end of the song, Kermit recalls positive associations with the color green, and concludes by accepting and embracing his greenness.
Referencehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bein%27_Green

Michael LOVED KERMIT:

A picture of Michael with Jim Henson and Kermit the Frog is featured in Michael’s 1988 autobiography,Moon Walk. This picture was shown during the "Michael Jackson Public Memorial Service", held in Los Angeles at the Staples Center; the broadcast was aired internationally, to an estimated audience of 1 billion people.
In the documentary, Living with Michael Jackson, features a Kermit the Frog pill box as part of Michael’s's collection.
Reference: http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Michael_Jackson

Oscar the Grouch also sang his own version of “Bein’ Green”:

Michael appeared in a segment with Oscar the Grouch in the 1978 “A Special Sesame Street Christmas.”

So, it seems that Michael definitely has a place in his heart for the magic of Jim Henson and the lovable Muppet characters.

Even more amazingly, Michael “saved” The Children’s Television Workshop (today known as Sesame Workshop), the non-profit organization that is behind the production of Sesame Street, from a costly law suit and possible bankruptcy.

Referencehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sesame_WorkshopReference
Referencehttp://www.toughpigs.com/how-michael-jackson-saved-sesame-street/

When the Beatles' catalogue was still owned by Northern Songs, the company attempted to sue Children's Television Workshop for $5.5 million. They cited that the song too closely resembled ‘Let It Be.’ Before the case came to trial, Michael Jackson purchased the Lennon/McCartney catalogue and the suit was dropped. The Children's Television Workshop was only fined $50, which was paid out of Christopher Cerf's own pocket. Paul McCartney, who was not involved in the lawsuit, wrote to Cerf saying that he liked the song.
