King of Pop's Drug Cocktail

According to news reports, Michael Jackson died of "lethal levels" of the powerful anesthetic propofol. Here's a rundown of the additional drugs Jackson reportedly used.

48860887.jpg
Propofol

Brand: Diprivan

Propofol is an intravenous drug that slows the activity of your brain and nervous system. It is used to help you relax before and during general anesthesia for surgery or other medical procedure. Propofol is also used in critically ill patients who require a breathing tube connected to a ventilator. Side effects may include: seizure (convulsions), weak or shallow breathing, or fast or slow heart rate.

48860581.jpg
Lorazepam

Brand: Ativan

Lorazepam is a habit-forming drug used to treat anxiety disorders. The drug should not be taken for a period longer than four months. Withdrawal symptoms may occur when you stop using lorazepam, including tremor, sweating, muscle cramps, stomach pain, vomiting, unusual thoughts or behavior, and seizure (convulsions). Side effects include: confusion, depressed mood, thoughts of suicide or hurting yourself, hyperactivity, agitation, hostility and hallucinations.

48861025.jpg
Clonazepam

Brand:Klonopin

Clonazepam is in a group of drugs called benzodiazepines and affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause anxiety. Clonazepam is used to treat seizure disorders or panic disorder. The drug is habit-forming and should not be taken longer than nine weeks. Your symptoms may return when you stop using clonazepam after using it over a long period of time. You may have seizures or withdrawal symptoms when you stop using clonazepam. Withdrawal symptoms may include tremor, sweating, trouble sleeping, muscle cramps, stomach pain, vomiting, and unusual thoughts or behavior.

48861338.jpg
Temazepam

Brand: Restoril

Temazepam is in a group of drugs called benzodiazepines and affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause sleep problems ( insomnia). Temazepam is used to treat insomnia symptoms, such as trouble falling or staying asleep and should be used only for a short time, generally between seven and 10 nights. The drug is habit-forming. Overdose symptoms may include extreme drowsiness, confusion, muscle weakness, slurred speech, tremors, a slow heartbeat, shallow breathing, feeling light-headed, fainting, seizure (black-out or convulsions), and coma.

48861399.jpg
Tamsulosin

Brand: Flomax

Tamsulosin is in a group of drugs called alpha-adrenergic blockers. Tamsulosin relaxes your veins and arteries so that blood can more easily pass through them. It also relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to urinate. Tamsulosin is used to improve urination in men with benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate). Side effects may include penis erection that is painful or lasts 4 hours or longer; severe dizziness; or fainting.

48861481.jpg
Trazodone

Brand: Desyrel

Trazodone is an antidepressant medication. It affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause depression. Used to treat depression, the drug may induce mood or behavior changes, anxiety, panic attacks, trouble sleeping and impulsive, irritable, agitated, hostile, aggressive and restless feelings. Thoughts of suicide may occur when first taking trazodone.

48861754.jpg
Midazolam

Brand: Versed

Midazolam is a drug given intravenously to make the patient drowsy and relieve anxiety prior to surgery. It is also given to induce memory loss so patients won't remember any discomfort that may take place before or after surgery. The effects of midazolam (drowsiness, tiredness, weakness) may be felt for one to two days after the drug is administered. It may also cause coordination problems and affect a patient's ability to think. Side effects may include confusion and breathing problems.

48861867.jpg
Modafinil

Brand:Provigil

Modafinil is a medication that promotes wakefulness. The drug is used to treat excessive sleepiness caused by sleep apnea, narcolepsy, or shift work sleep disorder. Modafinil is usually taken each morning to prevent daytime sleepiness, or one hour before the start of a work shift to treat work-time sleep disorders.

48862021.jpg
Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone

Brand: Vicodin

Hydrocodone is a narcotic pain medication that is often combined with acetaminophen to relieve moderate to severe pain. Overdose symptoms may include extreme drowsiness, sweating, pinpoint pupils, nausea, vomiting, dark urine, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), confusion, cold and clammy skin, muscle weakness, fainting, weak pulse, slow heart rate, coma, blue lips, shallow breathing, or no breathing.

48862145.jpg
Diazepam

Brand:Valium

Diazepam is in a group of drugs called benzodiazepines. Diazepam affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause anxiety and is used to treat anxiety disorders, alcohol withdrawal symptoms, or muscle spasms. It may also be used to reduce anxiety prior to surgery. The pill should be swallowed whole. It is specially made to release medicine slowly in the body. Breaking or opening the pill would cause too much of the drug to be released at one time. Side effects may include unusual risk-taking behavior, decreased inhibitions, no fear of danger; depressed mood, thoughts of suicide and hallucinations.

48874769.jpg
Tizanidine

Brand: Zanaflex

Tizanidine is a short-acting muscle relaxer. It works by blocking nerve impulses (pain sensations) that are sent to your brain. Tizanidine is used to treat spasticity by temporarily relaxing muscle tone. Tizanidine is a short-acting medication, and its effects will be most noticeable between one and six hours after you take it. This medication should be taken only for daily activities that require relief from muscle spasticity. Side effects may include feeling light-headed, fainting, slow heart rate, hallucinations, confusion, unusual thoughts or behavior, nausea, stomach pain, low fever, loss of appetite, dark urine or clay-colored stools.

http://www.ktla.com/entertainment/sns-michael-jackson-drugs-pictures,0,4551281.photogallery?index=sns-michael-jackson-drugs-propofol-jpg

They are expecting us to believe that Michael was having these drugs and then dance and sing in TII? NO WAY!
  • What kind of doctor would give a patient ALL OF THIS STUFF at one time or even close in any proximity? Michael would have been twitching and slurring and God knows what else with all this stuff in his system. No way. Any “doctor” administering a patient this manner of cocktail even if only a couple of times should have an appointment with the electric chair. bangbang there is no way he would have been so calm and in charge of what he was doing with this production had he been taking all those drugs. No way.

There is a time limit to take the pills. I am surprised Michael continued with them (all of them at the same time?? ) after being supervised properly by a docto, if ever.

If we read the side effects, we can remember Michael in TII and also remember what Jermaine said in his book about Michael, that he started forgetting and being confused.

Murray said at first that he was giving Michael a serum (not propofol) and the family talked about "the intervention". What if Murray wanted to get Michael out of those prescription meds? The risk is very high for something to go wrong.

When rehab takes place, the body can encounter such a state of shock that there is a possibility that person cannot make it.

IDK what to think. I can´t picture Michael taking all that at the same time during the day.
He would not be able to move or articulate a word WTF?? plus the liver won´t be so happy either.

If he was in pain, why not give just morphine?
Morphine acts directly on the central nervous system (CNS) to relieve pain. Unlike many other opioids, morphine is an opiate and a natural product.
• Hm, I take Trazodone for sleeping, I know it's considered an antidepressant but it's very low on the aspect of other antidepressants (if that makes sense), but if he were taking this wouldn't it make him tired? For that matter, if he had all of that in his system he would/should have been knocked out for hours if not days. Something is really weird about all of this. :?
  • Trazadone has MJ on one and 2 little v on the top and bottom then 778, then the one next to it has 50 50 50 (555) (VVV) looks more like a band aid
Klonopin has K and K cut outs (11 11) medicine doesn't have cut outs
Valium has V and V cut outs (55)

And jermaine also say as Michael to manipulate the means and to invent diseases rr/

well, already to begin the mass media.. I sigh
 Comment of someone in the link

This article is misleading. Not all drugs listed in this article were found at the home of Carolwood. The results of the tests in the autopsy report to list all of these drugs as if it had been found in blood samples , tissue or urine. The drugs included in the report of the autopsy have been found in samples from the body:

Propofol - Anesthesia Lidocaine - Local anesthesia (usually given to numb the injection site) Diazepam - Valium is used to treat anxiety, insomnia and more -> Nordiazepam - an active metabolite of diazepam Lorazepam - Ativan for anxiety, insomnia and more Midazolam - Versed, a fast-acting drug used to treat moderate to severe insomnia and seizures.
Jackson receiving the drugs by Dr. Conrad Murray. Murray has previously admitted to the administration. So who is responsible, then the doctor or patient confidence? included in this article, drugs that Michael Jackson may have been prescribed at a time, to paint him as an addict, is deplorable. Stick to the facts and not sensationalism. Blame the feet of their leaders and not victims.

Just because it's in print does not mean that is the gospel. ~ Michael Jackson
