He’s a great man doing an incredible job and I’m really proud that Peace One Day has the opportunity to work with him and LOCOG, particularly in relation to our concerts, raising awareness of Global Truce 2012.

The POD celebration concert 2011 at the O2 Arena London has an amazing line-up: Yusuf (Cat Stevens), Razorlight, Newton Faulkner, Eliza Doolittle, AfroReggae, English National Ballet and Flawless. If you are able to join us, we look forward to seeing you there!

Have an incredible day tomorrow. Good luck with your Peace Day activities. 21 September being Peace Day doesn't get much focus in Australia. The song 'September' by Earth Wind and Fire, was part of the music synced with the Television broadcast of the 2011 New Years Eve fireworks in Sydney. I remember wondering what the song had to do with NYE or the theme of Making Your Mark.

Although I don't see any good reason to imagine there's no heaven, Emmanuel Kelly's audition for X Factor Australia, is now my favourite version of John Lennon's 'Imagine'. He was born with limb deficiencies believed to be caused by chemical warfare.

http://www.3aw.com.au/blogs/neil-mitchell-blog/major-reaction-to-manny/20110823-1j7dr.html

Heal the World,

Peace

bearhug
