I never heard that someone can copyright a public trial, but it seems that this one is. I used to watch the trial videos on youtube, but the person who was uploading all those videos said, that Google contacted him and told him that he has to stop, because the material is copyrighted. He uploads videos on some web page now ...

I was just thinking about who holds the copyright ... Michael?
And you all know what it means if the trial is copyrighted, don't you?

A copyright is a set of exclusive rights granted by a state to the creator of an original work or their assignee for a limited period of time upon disclosure of the work. This includes the right to copy, distribute and adapt the work (maybe for a movie later or a book?).
Yes I do ;)
• OMG, I hope they don't delete all the Videos. I am now by Day 7 the last part.
I have here in Germany that Problem that I don't know when they start and I can't
watch till the End because that would be somewhere in the middle of the Night and I
have to get up at 5.30 in the Morning. So I can only watch something in the Middle.
The Problem is that this Trial isn't a Action-Movie. By an Action Movie I can go further
till the Scene I have seen and watch it than further.

I don't know how credible the IMdB is, but maybe it have something to do with this, because
now the Board says the Movie is in Production.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3735024/

Much Peace and Love to everyone
Sweetangel, you can still watch videos of the trial here: http://dearconradmurray.com/trial/.
Take into the consideration that anyone can post information on imdb. I'm sure there will be a movie - a lot of people will try and make money out of this (like there was a movie about Amanda Knox).
Even if there was someone who wanted to make movie out of Murray's work, he couldn't copyright the trial.
