MICHAEL JACKSON'S ASSISTANT
I Paid MJ's Bills ...
And I Want My Money Back!
1/6/2013 12:45 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

0102-michael-williams-jackson-getty-3.jpg

Michael Jackson's personal assistant covered a bunch of expenses while the King of Pop was living in Vegas. Now, three years later, he's finally getting around to demanding payment.

Michael Amir Williams filed a creditor's claim with the Michael Jackson Estate, claiming he's still out $28,569.83. Among the items listed -- an $11K power bill, a $13K vehicle lease and almost $1K in phone bills.

As for why he took so long to file the claim, it's a little unclear -- Jacko kicked the bucket back in June 2009 ... and most everyone else filed their claims years ago. In fact, he may have missed the filing deadline by a long shot.

Williams also filed a class action suit against AEG recently ... which AEG didn't really appreciate.

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

This is a tricky one :icon_e_geek:

Why file after the deadline? Claimants only have two years to file claims against a decedents estate.

...and he filed against AEG? (the family/Katherine also has a pending suit) :suspect:

...are those closest to MJ "breaking ranks" and going for broke $$$.....or is it made to look that way? :icon_e_confused:

who's next...the nanny? the chef? :ghsdf:

.....on another note...

What caught my attention is this:

....while the King of Pop was living in Vegas. Now, three years later,....

Michael living in Las Vegas....3 years ago...? Really? :icon_e_wink:

....A ha, didn't Thome say he turned over $5 million to the estate in "cash" that he was holding for MJ? (supposedly it was to build a house in Vegas after "This is It" was over.) :suspect:

Yes good catch and what about the: "In fact, he may have missed the filing deadline by a long shot", it remains me the CM's filing deadline that was set on last Dec 21st.

I sometimes wonder if these money claims are a hint that MJ's employees are still being paid for current services. If Michael were really dead than the former employees would've (most likely) filed for their money-owed within the first while, not over 3 1/2 years later.

Just like CM , we never heard anything about him before June 25th . If the guy is described as "MJ's personal assisstant " then he must have been very close to Michael, just like Frank Dileo once was . I recall La Toya talking about him in an interview pronouncing him as one of MJ' bodyguards .. and if I remember well he was the one who informed the family about Thome firing all the staffs ... Now who's really this man ?
PS : To me , he's just playing his role in there !

I'm thinking the same, it does not seem logical, why have not claimed anything so far? :abouttime:
  • Thank you for sharing this with us. Am I the only one who finds it strange that an assistant would have that much money (more money than the employer) to loan out? Grace was another who claimed to have paid bills on MJ's behalf. I just find that odd.

Also, doesn't this kind of feel like a parallel to Neverland and the employees not getting paid? How is it that AEG would agree to pay MJ's staff that much money? It seems to be more than they were getting paid (based on actions of Amir). I think there is more to this.

Blessings
  • Why would Michael be leasing a vehicle when he had a fleet of them :icon_e_confused:

ix46s8.jpg

I remember reading somewhere....maybe it was the conversation with spiritual advisor June Gaitlin? when MJ said he didn't have any control over his money as Thome monitored everything and he couldn't write a check without Thome's OK. Then there is the question of auctioning off all MJ's possessions instigated by Thome....allegedly. I wonder if the fleet of cars were a part of this auction consignment originally?
The mysterious Dr [allegedly] Thome.
There is a court case looming at the end of this month between the Estate and Thome set for the 30th January I think. Should be a good case to watch and pick apart for information.

Nope. It´s not a language issue. I know that nobody said that.

But tell me: "Now, three years later", what´s that supposed to mean. Three years later....three years after what exactly?

Mary, you're right, it has nothing to do with you misunderstanding. They've left info out, whether deliberately or not, there's the question.
Michael Jackson's personal assistant covered a bunch of expenses while the King of Pop was living in Vegas (before he moved to 100 Carolwood). Now, three years later (after his death), he's finally getting around to demanding payment.
So is it that MJ moved to Las Vegas right after June 25, that TMZ is hinting at? Joe lives there too.
For some reason my thoughts went back to MJ talking in the Bashir docu about the things he was buying in that extravagant store were going to, "the other house". So where was that other house, since at that time he was living still at Neverland, or did he mean for Katherine at Encino?

What do we know so far about MJ's stay in Las Vegas? Any address?

The fact that he allegedly files this claim three years after MJs jump into the hide-out is not really of interest to me - I'm much more interested how an assistant - even MJs one - is able to bring up 28'000+ $ of his own pocket, when this was a very good annual income in the states around the time I was living in the states (late 94-97). Don't count me on that someone living in the States now can be more elaborative about that than me. Unless Amir was from a rich family I certainly doubt that he was even able to bring up that amount of money - even if in bits and parts.

I call it BS big time. No truth to it.

Funny: Tomiyasu Lane 7000. Nice house!
  • my very first thought was how did this guy have that kind of money. my second thought is that i need to go back over this guys testimony to see how long he says he had been working for michael before june 25th.

This house is just 2 or 3 miles from the McCarran Int. Airport...

Given the fact that the house has secret tunnels,.. Could this be the place where Michael was "hiding" after June 2009?
I'm thinking about Jermaine's "slip-up".
