Yes, you are right MJonmind. I didn't check the date of the comments. The link does appear on today's page under the story about Quenten Tarentino and Django Unchained.
http://www.tmz.com/2013/01/12/quentin-tarantino-django-unchained-tmz-tv/

    Please dear friends can you try and explain/debunk this? I have been discussing with some friends on twitter

Take a look at the time when these pics were posted by TMZ especially the History Album cover with MJ holding the remote control.
If I am not mistaken it is 1:23pm PDT time on the 25th June 2009 :affraid:

http://www.tmz.com/photos/2009/06/25/1942-jacksons-albums/images/2009/06/25/45066-michael-jackson-album-cover-0-0006-layer-11-full-jpg/

45066-michael_jackson_album_cover_0_0006_Layer_11_full-480w.jpg

Plus take a look at the time for these pics on TMZ - Remembering Michael Jackson - 10:06am PDT on the 25th June - why would TMZ want to change the times if they indeed did so? Also I checked with one of my friends with a different time zone and the times remain the same.

http://www.tmz.com/photos/2009/06/25/1941-remembering-michael-jackson/images/2009/06/25/45036-50961977-full-jpg/

    Hi finfin.......

We have always been told the phrase, "time dots".......seems quite interesting. So I feel a bit lost..........
I understand TMZ posting pictures of Michael like this after Jermaine's official announcement . I know
something was said about how TMZ announced the death earlier.....but these times stamps are way
early. A stamp of 10:06am with the headline "Remembering Michael Jackson"......really?
I remember early on there was talk about TMZ timing of things...even about pictures. But I don't remember
it being so off. And the remote? What's that all about? Interesting to revisit for sure.......seems we might
not have been lead down the garden path by a certain somebody after-all, lol. Time Dots....good one.
Thanks Finfin......great stuff to look at again!
Have a beautiful day!
LOVE

PS> the time zone PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) is -7 off Greenwich Mean Time .....it's daylight savings time of year......I have wondered
if that had a factor with the time dot stuff.....Wiki:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pacific_Time_Zone

    6/25/2009 1:23 PM PDT is the time they published the photo gallery.
Source code of the site says:

6/25/2009 1:23 PM PDT

var galleryJson =

{
"ActiveDate": "2009-06-25T13:23:54-07:00",
"FormattedActiveDate": "6/25/2009 1:23 PM PDT",
"RecordLink": "http:\/\/www.tmz.com\/photos\/2009\/06\/25\/1942-jacksons-albums\/",
"title": "Jackson's Albums",
"description": "Jackson's Albums",
"first-publish-date": {"date":"2009-06-25 16:23:54","timezone_type":3,"timezone":"US\/Eastern"},
"adPosition3": "tmz.photos.wb.dart\/;pos=btf;boxad=3;tile=3;sz=300x250",
"adPosition5": "tmz.photos.wb.dart\/;pos=btf;boxad=5;tile=5;sz=300x250",
"thumbnail-override": "Data:#thumbnail-override.MetaValue",
"disableInterstitials": false,
"images": [

The photo was modified with an Adobe software.
  • Michael Jackson with remote control ....might mean he's the puppet-master of the Alternate Reality Game, which we are playing. This signifies the hoax is entertainment for believers.

Sarahli, that's one of so many threads I somehow missed, when they were coming thick and fast. I like one post there:
Cin_pyt
MICHAEL CONTROLLING EVERYTHING NOTHING ESCAPES THIS MAN. HE'S TELLING US I GOT EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL I CHOOSE WHEN I GIVE CLUES AND WHEN YOU GET THEM. FAST FORWARD, PAUSE, REWIND (REHASH THE OLD NEWS)

Finfin, great observation! The video I started this thread with, didn’t mention those hoaxy times that I recall.

And as usual as I reread TS's updates, he's clearly intimately knowledgable of what TMZ says hoax-wise.
Thank you for your comments, this is all intriguing indeed!
The Remembering Michael Jackson pics times are a puzzle too, especially since the comments below are from June 2012.
@ellyd - are you able to do the source code thing again? Thanks in advance

http://www.tmz.com/photos/2009/06/25/1941-remembering-michael-jackson/images/2009/06/25/45036-50961977-full-jpg/

Also thanks to @ItsBlackItsWite on twitter for bringing to attention this interview with Harvey Levin about the scoop on 25th June :icon_e_wink: I particularly like what he says

Lemon: You broke the story before the time of death from the coroner.
Harvey: Well, before it was officially announced. We really knew this significantly before even what was going on, but this was, you know, crossing every t. We were positive when we put it up. We put it up when we were 100% positive.
.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/07/06/tmzs-harvey-levin-on-jack_n_226222.html

Also this interesting interview with Harvey

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/michael-lewittes/harvey-levin-tells-how-tm_b_625960.html

    Displaying the source code of any page is easy. Right-click on the page you want to display in html code and select "view source code" or "view page code" . You'll get another window / tab opened containing the technical code of a web page. This should work in all browsers. In the browser menu, there's "edit / find" - with this search you may check for any expression, date, script etc in the html page code.

For the "Remembering Michael Jackson" gallery, these are some data in the code:

6/25/2009 10:06 AM PDT

var galleryJson =

{
"ActiveDate": "2009-06-25T10:06:00-07:00",
"FormattedActiveDate": "6/25/2009 10:06 AM PDT",
"RecordLink": "http:\/\/www.tmz.com\/photos\/2009\/06\/25\/1941-remembering-michael-jackson\/",
"title": "Remembering Michael Jackson",
"description": "Michael Jackson",
"first-publish-date": {"date":"2009-06-25 13:06:00","timezone_type":3,"timezone":"US\/Eastern"},
