R Kelly has filed a creditor's claim against the estate of Michael Jackson.

The R&B singer's management alleges that the late pop star never paid for the use of Kelly's 2002 hit 'Ignition' in Michael Jackson's Private Home Movies.

In the video, Jackson sings along to the track while sitting in a car with director Brett Ratner in Miami.

According to TMZ, Universal Music Publishing Group holds the rights to 'Ignition' and have asked for $3,000 (£1,860) in royalties from Jackson's estate.

After the death of Michael Jackson in June of last year, his estate has been hit with over $20 million (£12.4m) in legal claims."

they come creeping out - why didn't he seek payment earlier?
eek

i think that is disgusting, they should right off any royalites or technical breach of copyright. it is totally disgusting, i thought they were friends, maybe he was only interested in MJ's fame, money and power. it is disgusting.

i hope he retracts his claim, which is a chicken feed some in any case.

it is just cruel.

there are some other creditors that i think - oh no how could you do that

I think this may be R.Kelly doing a service for Michael by leading us to a clue/message. If you watch the video and take note of the lyrics I think he may be telling us something. See what you think of these links and make up your mind.

Jackson's Former Chef Files Creditor's Claim
The personal chef who was with MICHAEL JACKSON when he died has filed a creditor's claim against the late star's estate.

Kai Chase, who worked at Jackson's California home, claims her company Kai Chase Incorporated is owed $8,000 (GBP5,000) for missing pay between 2 and 25 June (10), when the Thriller hitmaker suffered a fatal cardiac arrest.

The claims against the tragic King of Pop's estate now exceed $22 million (GBP13.75 million).

They include legal challenges from Jackson's former accountant Diane Williams, his spiritual adviser Reverend June Juliet Gatlin, his former skin doctor Arnold Klein, choreographer LaVelle Smith Jr. and the pop superstar's one-time manager and adviser Dr. Tohme Tohme.
